Hestia Homeschool for Young Wild Women

I love men, I really do. I have always found them fascinating, if somewhat dangerous and baffling.  After living with David for over twenty three years, I still find him to be mysterious at times.

What goes on in their heads?

Why do they act the way they do?

I think this is a worthy subject for exploration this summer. I have three daughters and no living sons.  My daughters will probably get married some day and need to know some of the things I can teach them about men.

We can explore the Mars and Venus pop psychology.

Things I know for sure about men:

Do not bother them when they are hungry or tired. Like infants, it is just going to cause trouble.

If you want someone to LISTEN to your problems, go to a girlfriend. Men want to fix things, and so they start offering solutions before you are even finished telling them what is wrong. This is in their nature. Just accept it.

Men that smell good are nicer than men that stink. I have never met a smelly man that I liked. It might be a pheremone thing, but trust me girls, trust your nose.

ROFL..OK...you'd have to be really drunk...and male...to do this...

  I didn't mean that a machinist or something else smells bad....I meant there is a stale, aggressive smell that some men have that makes me wary of them. Maybe I can sense too much testosterone or something....I like the smell of clean men.

  having been married twice/ divorced twice  in my 43 years, i'd say it is a safe bet that i no nothing about men. lol ! girls, may u have much better luck than i ! lol ! :)

    I dont know anything about how a man smells, and having to do with his personality or not. I guess I never paid any attn. But I do know that men who smell good are so much nicer to be around! My Husband is a Machinist, and usually smells like a machinist! On very rare occasions he will put on cologne or after shave, and I just LOVE IT! Wish he'd do iit more. But being a man, he never listens to me.
   I do know that he is the sweetest man I have ever met!

  Let me add:  The amount of focus a woman is spending on a particular chore, job or activity is directly related to the amount of attention he will need at any given time.
