The first dead body I saw outside of a funeral home was when I was thirteen in Murray, Kentucky. A train had hit a car, and they were pulling the body of a woman out of the car...what was left of her. We have train tracks within easy walking distance of the house. I like to hear the whistle blowing. I wanted the girls to know some of the safety issues about trains.
