Feeling Happy
Springtime in Kentucky means Horses!
My girls are all horse crazy. They come by it honestly. I have adored horses since before I could walk. I took the girls to a petting farm recently where they had the chance to ride for two dollars a ride. Guess who went through twelve dollars? Each ride was four times around the arena, so they got to stay on for quite some time.
Tabby wants me to re-start the Homeschooler's Pony Club. In the past we visited a police horse, a farm with Draft horses, a mini horse farm, and the zoo did a class on zebras for us. I guess maybe I should start it back up now that Shelby is older. I had to stop when I went on bedrest. One of the most fun events was that the Homeschool Pony Club sponsored a class at the Mule and Donkey Show and got to hand out trophies. :-)
More time with horses means a happier family!

There's something about the outside of a horse that's good for the inside of a (wo)man <g>
