Feeling Sad

Feeling very sad

The supreme happiness of life is the conviction of being loved for yourself, or, more correctly, being loved in spite of yourself.

-Victor Hugo

My feelings got badly hurt today, and I can't seem to stop crying. It is amazing how FULL of people my house is---the girls have the house full of kids downstairs, our electrician and the masonry guy showed up unexpectantly to put in the new door (after waiting four months), and my husband is underfoot. Shelby is attatched to my breast as I type, of course, since I am upset she needs to be comforted too. I tried to go outside to cry, and my next door neighbor was on the porch!

I finally told my husband I could not deal with getting the door cut in our wall right now and fled to the comfort of my journal for a few minutes.

I really miss my sister. She has never even seen Shelby, who is three.  We haven't even spoken in almost two years, and haven't had a real conversation in seven...

My family is a nut case, and I guess I am one of the nuts, too.  I have not cried this much in a long time.

    Oh Kas,
Bless your heart.  I had one of those overwhelming days
yesterday myself.  Wow, we could have sat outside in the
    rain and boo hoo'd together!
Babe, there is nothing wrong with saying "Halt!" and
making everyone get out of your space for a while.
Nothing wrong with that at all.
    Love you,
    Connie
