Skunk in a pillow


Yesterday morning when I stepped out onto the deck to check on The Lily Pad, she had found a small hole in the seam of one of the pillows I keep on the deck chairs.  She crawled inside and made herself a cozy little nest. 

Since the pillows were only two dollars each, I could not be in the least bit upset. She was so pleased with herself.

I cannot emphasize enough how much joy my animal friends bring me.  Lily is a wonderful spirit to share a home with.
