Mandy's horse of the day
We found, to our delight, that one of the vaulting instructors raises the rare American Baskir Curly Horses.

There are less that 4,000 of these naturally curly coated horses in the world. We have a chance to lease a palomino Curly gelding, and the more we research this rare breed, the more excited we are becoming!

They have the chunky build of the original Morgan, have a very sweet nature, and many are naturally gaited as well. We can't wait to go out and see this wee fellow--he is only 14 3" hands, but then, we are a short family.
Look at that curly coat! Isn't it unusual?
We can't wait to see this fellow in person. All the above curlies are so cute and cuddly.

So cute - I've never heard of them before. I love coming over here and learning new things! They kind of remind me of a favorite old teddy bear.

I have never seen them in person. But have heard of this breed. That's cool that you could get a lease.
