Feeling Mischievous

when will you learn to drive?

Sometimes when I overhear a conversation between my children, it is at once humbling and hilarious.

Mandy was telling three year old Shelby that some day soon she will get her license and drive a car. Then she can drive them to the barn to see Dakota.

"Like Mommy?" Shelby asked incredulously.

"Yes, like Mommy."  Mandy said.

Shelby mulled this over, "You'll drive a car like Mommy?"

"Yes, just like Mommy, " Mandy said.

"Drive just like Mommy?"

"YES!"

"When?" Shelby asked doubtfully.

"When I get my license." Mandy said firmly, "I am big enough to drive."

"You're big enough? You'll get your license when you are fat like Mommy?"
