Top Hummingbird Plants

I adore hummingbirds.  We once had the distinct honor of rescuing one of these living jewels when he was trapped in a fellow homeschooler's garage. Eventually the poor wee creature was so exhausted he could not fly, and we cradled him carefully in our hands and transported him to a ornithologist who specialized in rehabbing hummingbirds.

He was so light you  could barely feel him in your hand.

I always try to think of what they will enjoy when I plant my yard.  Did you know they can see the color red from a half mile away?
