Feeling Happy
Hearing the blue jay outside eating cherries

Planting  tree for the neighbor's baby girl

We were especially delighted when our neighbors two doors down had a lovely little baby girl.  (We are a baby crazy family.)

We bought an ornamental pear tree to celebrate her birth, and they had us over for a yummy salmon dinner for the ceremonial planting. It rained beforehand, and when we stepped outside to plant the tree there was a triple rainbow!

Our street is mostly lined with trees, but there was a space for Collette's tree, and they had mentioned that they wanted to plant a tree there. It was a lovely evening, and I was happy to see the girls behaving so well with neighbors. LOL

I am cracking up at Mandy! She looks like one of our fore-fathers...er...fore-mothers. ;-)
