Feeling Happy

Children's Museum visit

Shelby and I had a good time at the Children's Museum last weekend while the rest of the family was out gallivanting about at King's Island and the Renfest.

I was still glowing from Ashley's visit. I am very family oriented (duh) and having her actually back in my house was such a happy time for me.

Shelby is very interested in building with tools, unlike my other two girls were, and this museum is great because it has many legos, blocks, pegs and gears, and other fun things for her to work on. I know it is important for math skills--and while I was there I bought a museum center pass so Ashley could bring her son to the museum next time she came up.

I am sneaky that way.

Encourage the tools! You will need someone to go and fix things in your home when you get old, lol!

Sneaky is good.  But it also sounds like she needs you as a mother figure in her life if her mom has problems.  I bet it was a little weird to have Shelby all alone at the Children's museum.  But a good thing!

Well, I'd say you've found a very creative way of having a HUGE family without over-taxing your uterus. ;-)  I always wanted my house to be the neighborhood hangout spot.  Maybe when the boys are older I can woo their friends here. I have my freezer constantly stocked with ice pops and frozen pizza treats.  :-)
