Five weird habits

Five Weird Habits of mine:

(Actually, I am a mass of eccentricities, but I will play along with the meme)

1.  I do not wear underwear or bras, unless I am going to a funeral.

2.  I do not like to drink out of plastic or paper---just glass or ceramics. There are no plastic cups in my home. No plastic knives or forks, either. I hate the feel of plastic on my mouth.  (shudder) It also TASTES bad. I am allergic to latex. I do not know if this is connected to the plastic thing.

3.  I smell everything. Everything. This is a family trait.

4.  I always wash the bathroom floor in some place when I go in to pee, before I wash my hands. This helps keep the bathroom floor semi-clean. I only do this at home, though. :-)

5.  I take two or three baths a day, sometimes more. This is also a family habit. We all like baths. A lot. It's not a matter of not liking to be dirty as much as liking the feel of water.

I quit wearing undies when my oldest daughter (Mandy) had somet terrible bladder problems when we adopted her. Her pediatric urologist told us to let her go without underwear as much as possible to let her bottom "breathe"  She was self concious about it when she got to be about kindergarten age, so I also went bare, too.

It is the same reason I never drink alcohol. She was born with Fetal Alcohol syndrome and can never drink.  As she got to be older, I made a point of never drinking so she could see that you can have a lot of fun and never drink.  It was a small sacrifice to make to keep her healthy and sober.

Actually, we have a hot tub. I get in it a lot, too.

I would love to have the time for the baths!  And the right tub.  Ours is too shallow.  Wouldn't getting  pool help that whole water thing?!
