March Stampin' Up class

We have really been enjoying the crafts we have been making at our Health Club's Stamping Up classes.  Nancy, our Stamping Up teacher, always has some of the cutest ideas, and she moves us rapidly from one project to another.  First we made adorable little magnets out of aquarium marbles that are flat on one side. We stamped and colored little tiny pictures, then cut them out with a nifty hole punch that was exactly the right side, and then glued them to the bottom of the marble.  Then we glued magnets to the bottom of the picture...I ordered the way cool punch. We plan to do this with our Girl scout troop, and also as an activity for our Egyptian club.

Then we stamped an adorable card (Shelby helped decorate mine when she left the nursery, but the girls' cards are precious).  We also made very cute Easter bags with a roller stamp and ribbon on white paper, and finally these little bunny basket/boxes.

We have enjoyed the classes so much, but sadly she is moving them to Thursday nights, which are taken up with vaulting classes. So, I have asked Nancy if she would consider offering them to the Homeschool Network...I always end up buying stamps or punches or something cool from her. We have learned to make embossed paper items and how to color stamped items with chalk...I ordered some wee tiny stamps that make cute backgrounds.

I wondered about the "pox" on Tabby's arm in the pottery pictures.  That makes perfect sense!  I adore stamping.  I own way too many stamps and have great fun with them.  Emma really likes to stamp too.
