Graduated in 1995 from Okemos High School in Okemos, Michigan. (So, there are hott guys from MI ;) )
Former model.
Like Christopher Reeve, was not a big Superman fan prior to being cast as Clark Kent, and in fact continues not to read Superman comics.
Named one of People Magazine's 'Breakthrough Stars of 2001'.
Turned down the role of the young Clark Kent twice before accepting it.
Has a pug named Cook.
His shoe size is fourteen.
Played varsity soccer in high school.
Received "fair" grades in high school and opted not to go to college. Instead, he choose to become a construction worker while continuing to live with his parents.
Worked in construction after graduation until he became a model.
Got so into character as Clark Kent one time that when he saw a woman being mugged, he ran over and fought off her attackers. The woman looked at him and said "Wow, you really are Superman" and he just laughed.
Auditioned for the role of Tag on "Friends".
Father is a retired executive for General Motors and mother is a "home engineer."
Has two older sisters and a younger brother.

I am from Holt MI which is 2 minutes from Okemos where Tom went to school. I also have a pug. One day I would love to met Tom and possibly be on Smallville even if I'm just an extra, lol. Love him!
