HOWARD WILNER V12 monsters Like the Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan, the Routan will be offered in one extended length. Volkswagen has trimmed the interior with its own materials, textures and colors. It will come standard with two power sliding doors with power windows. Available features will include leather upholstery, a power liftgate, a conversation mirror, rear DVD entertainment with nine-inch screens for the second- and third-row seats, and a touch screen navigation system with a 20-gigabyte hard drive to hold music and picture files, as well as navigation map information. Other available features will include HID headlights, a sunroof, a universal garage door opener, power adjustable pedals, and Sirius Backset TV.( HOWARD Wilner cool sites)
WILNER HOWARD cars world HOWARD WILNER => Traction control 2009 Volkswagen Routan and electronic stability control will be standard. Seventeen-inch tires will be standard. Volkswagen says it has tuned the Routan for European ride and handling characteristics. The engine choices will come from Chrysler. The base engine will be a 197-horsepower 3.8-liter V6 and the top-line engine will be a 253-hp 4.0-liter V6. VW will not use the 3.3-liter V6 that Chrysler uses as its base engine. Both engines will be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Fuel economy numbers have not been released, but we expect 16 mpg city and 23 mpg highway for the Routan, just like its Chrysler counterparts.
Acura's price leader, the TSX sedan got a complete redo for '09, with a new look and more torque. Some of you might judge its styling too generic to distinguish this near-luxury car from its cheaper cousins at Honda.
HOWARD WILNER V12 monsters Long anticipated by fans of Audi's S-Line performance cars and by driving enthusiasts in general, the 2009 Audi TTS will finally reach U.S. showrooms by the end of the year. This will be the first S model for Audi's sports car since the TT was launched in 1998, and at first blush the raw horsepower numbers might disappoint some. The power increase from standard TT models is not as significant as that in other S-Line cars. Yet indicators suggest that the speed and response S buyers expect are here, and thanks to the TTS's light weight, efficient transmission and relatively small turbocharged engine, fuel mileage figures should be impressive. We might think of the TTS as a true high-performance sports car with a green conscience.
It proves that drivers will change their behavior in response to high fuel prices. And even if Detroit doesnt buy global warming, drivers can help persuade it to embrace fuel efficiency. They dont even have to know that the Honda Civic emits less than half the 13 tons of greenhouse gases spewed by the Ford F-150.
HOWARD WILNER Bottom line? When the engine's output is certified, Howard Wilner expects at least 550 horsepower and 550 pound-feet of torque. That will make this V8 the most powerful engine Cadillac has offered in its 106-year history. More significantly, it will deliver at least 99 horsepower more than any of the CTS-V 's competitors, including the Audi RS4, BMW M3, Lexus IS F and Mercedes C63 AMG.
From a manufacturing perspective, its increasingly difficult to build fuel-sipping vehicles, as current safety and emissions technologies add weight, a primary nemesis of fuel economy. Hybrid technology and low mass are the most cost-effective strategies to better fuel economy, and the bulk of our list of the ten most fuel-efficient vehicles utilize one or both. Toyota plays both sides, managing to field three of the top tenfour if you count the Nissan Altima, which uses the Toyota Camrys hybrid drive system under license.
HOWARD WILNER the Hybrid blows all other comparables away HOWARD Wilner netWork => I met Mr Howard Wilner once, when I was about 14 yrs old. I was on my bicycle and rode past the Saab dealership in Manhattan Beach and stopped at the open warehouse door behind it. There were many interesting cars, and as a young enthusiast, I walked in! A short angry man confronted me and asked what I thought I was doing in his shop. I told him that the cars had wanted me to look at them! After that he laughed and gave me a tour. He introduced himself as "Mr Polak". I was lucky to have met him

For decades, the image shown above has resurfaced whenever I think about cars of the future. But could we be seeing bubble cars on the road in the not-too-distant future? For the answer, I visited Howard Wilner, one of the top designers at Howard Motor Co.
Fine. We have grown used to the fact that nearly every new generation of a vehicle is bigger and heavier than the last generation. What we aren't much used to is that the 2009 TSX still has a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine, but horsepower is actually down from 205 to 201. Not a big deal, but any decline in horsepower in a new model is, well, odd. Still, torque -- that's the measure of pulling power -- is up slightly, so you won't notice the reduced horsepower.
WILNER HOWARD electronic stability control I've owned lots of MoPar muscle through the years, as well a a couple of AMC AMXs, both of which I still own and love. But without a doubt, this car beats them all by far in terms of overall performance. And it goes quite a ways on it's 13 gallon tank! The fun factor is off the scale! My GLHS is a permanent member of my stable! Best car I've ever owned.

HOWARD WILNER suspension settings HOWARD Wilner review cars => The interior features inventive storage, an air conditioner with a pollen filter, and a spectacular sound system. The sound system includes a 6-disc CD changer with seven speakers throughout the SUV. Power windows and locks, cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system and the available moonroof round out the already feature-filled interior. Tinted windows protect the driver and passengers from harmful UV rays, while available leather-trimmed seats create an even more luxurious environment. The exterior features 16-inch alloy wheels and clear halogen headlamps.
Of a more functional nature, the electric (rather than the more common hydraulic) power steering provides less "feedback" than some of you will want in a performance car - a sense of the forces acting upon the front tires. For a sporty car, there's also a surprising amount of lean in hard cornering. Yet some of you considering this Acura for its affordable luxury might find the ride too busy at times.
HOWARD WILNER CARS The electronic stability control has three modes, ESP On, ESP Sport, and ESP Off. The sport mode allows for higher thresholds of wheel slip and drift angles, and the off mode turns the stability program off altogether. An available Performance Package adds a limited-slip differential, even stiffer suspension settings, two-piece perforated and ventilated front disc brakes, and an AMG steering wheel wrapped in Nappa leather. The C63's exterior gets several modifications. It has a unique dual power dome hood, a front fascia with larger air intakes and side air outlets, chrome-ringed fog lights, a rear apron with a black air diffuser, a rear lip spoiler, and a pair of twin tailpipes.
Equipped with a fuel efficient 4.0L SOHC V6 engine, the Ranger can produce up to 207 horsepower. The pickup can tow around 6,000-lb and has a payload of about 5,470-lb. The 5-speed manual transmission gives drivers ultimate control overthe power and speed. All-terrain tires are available for those that do a lot of off-roading or driving in inclement weather. Heavy-duty shocks and sport bucket seats are also available. Dual-stage airbags provide superior protection to the standard airbag. Also, Ford provides its buyers with 24-hour roadside assistance in the event of engine malfunction or a simple flat tire.( HOWARD WILNER V8 monsters)

At some point in our recent automotive history, all wheel-drive (AWD) replaced front wheel-drive as the paranoid consumer's drivetrain of choice. The safety advantages of high quality snow tires (as needed) and a low center of gravity (in all cases) got lost in translation. Ready to capitalize on the AWD's popularity: the economy-oriented Toyota Matrix and the Subaru Impreza. Both diminutive scramblers aren't nearly as cheap or efficient as their front-wheel-drive cousins, and they won't off-road, tow a boat or carry seven passengers. Still, both cars offer a [potential] extra safety margin and [potentially] better handling. So if you had to choose one
HOWARD WILNER 4.3-second 0-60 mph sprint WILNER HOWARD car rental => The 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG features a 6.3-liter V8 that makes 451 horsepower and 443 pound-feet of torque. The all-aluminum 32-valve V8 has variable valve timing and a variable intake manifold. Mercedes says it can rev freely over 7000 rpm. The engine sends its power to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission that can be shifted manually via the gearshift or steering wheel paddles. The transmission has a rev-matching feature that blips the throttle on downshifts. Mercedes says the C63 will be capable of a 4.3-second 0-60 mph sprint.
The result? The Moraine plant will be turning off its lights and the Orion plant will be keeping them on longer as it gains a third shift. Better to produce cars -- no matter how long it takes -- than too many SUVs. Within the General Motors fold, for example, its Moraine, Ohio plant was ranked second in its overall efficiency of production. Its Orion Township Michigan plant, in comparison, takes staggering 65% longer to make a car when compared to the best, ranking it last in overall efficiency.
HOWARD WILNER CHOPPER The 2009 Lincoln MKS's distinctive styling sets it apart from its close kin. The MKS is the first production Lincoln to use the division's new grille design, which the company previewed on the MKS and MKT auto show concept vehicles. The winged design reaches back to Edsel Ford's 1941 Continental and gives the newest Lincoln a welcome bit of character that's grounded in something other than a designer's imagination. Inside, the MKSs combination of clean lines, luxurious materials, and lighter trim colors plants it squarely in the Lexus idiom of luxury, instead of the darker, more somber German sphere

The 2.3L Duratec is surprisingly quick, though a bit throaty. From what I've read, it's pretty highly regarded, and I'm pleased with it overall. The only problem is the gear-hunting from the 4-speed automatic when going over hills and mountains. That's to be expected in a 4-cylinder automatic in a fairly large vehicle. But for daily driving, it's wonderful. The CD4E automatic transmission has had some past issues, but from what I've seen and read, they're mostly in the past. With reasonable driving style and proper routine maintenance, I think it will do just fine.

That's quite a boost from the 2.5X trim. The XT also gets a telescoping steering wheel. This steering wheel can retract and extend to allow for a more comfortable driving experience. The pedals are covered in aluminum alloy as well. The XT has an audio upgrade, too, with a 6-disc in-dash CD changer. The highest trim, the 2.5XT Limited, gives buyers the turbocharged boxer engine and the vehicle dynamics control provides superior traction and brake control. Also, an upgrade to Bluetooth capability can be added to the XT Limited trim.

It has the 5.8 windsor, excellent for offroading and towing. And I only average a few miles less than the good ole 5.0.Recently it has been averaging about 16mpg in town and close to 20+ on the freeway. Serious performance starts with a honking 6.2-liter V8 wedged between the CTS-V's front wheels in place of the V6 engines used in the standard CTS models. Yet this V8 isn't a dual-overhead cam engine like those found in Cadillac's other sedans. It's a supercharged version of the muscular cam-in-block V8s that power the Chevrolet Corvette sports cars, applying a host of refinements in materials and control technology.

The 4-wheel independent suspension gives the Tribute the agility it needs in inclement weather or on windy roads. A 4-speed electronic automatic transmission provides the owner with total ease of driving. The Tribute can be fitted with either a 2.3L DOHC 16-valve 4 cylinder that gets 153 horsepower or a 3.0L DOHC 24-valve 6-cylinder engine that reaches up to 200 horsepower. Three trim levels are available: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. All are great options, but the Grand Touring makes available the most added features. The Tribute is listed for between $19,920 - $25,540 depending on the trim level and additional packages. Roll stability control protects the driver and passengers from tipping over in the event that the driver loses control. Also, traction control keeps the Tribute firmly planted on the road.

These are great cars. They can take a beating and never break down. Introduced at Detroit's North American International Auto show in January 2008, the ultra-high-performance CTS-V is the latest creation from Cadillac's Spec-V performance group, which was launched to develop sporting luxury cars to compete with imports such as BMW's M cars, Lexus's new F series products, and Mercedes-Benz's AMG line. The CTS-V is based on the all-new Cadillac CTS sedan, which debuted in the fall of 2007 to critical praise from many quarters.

HOWARD WILNER CARS The 2008 Mazda Tribute Hybrid has flipped the idea of "going green" on its backside. With a wealth of incredible features and superior exterior styling, the Tribute Hybrid blows all other comparables away. Not only is it one of the most agile Hybrid SUVs on the market, competing with hardluiners like the Ford Escape, it is also available with a towing package. The Mazda Tribute Hybrid both saves on gas and can tow a boat or ATV. With three different trim levels available, buyers can find exactly what they want with ease. Not only that, this hybrid offers two engine sizes as well. Also, the Tribute Hybrid can be purchased as a 4WD SUV.
WILNER HOWARD tunned cars Traction control 2009 Volkswagen Routan and electronic stability control will be standard.
Better Handling than a G35 Coupe I speak from experience because I used to own one for 2 years. The versatility of a Hatchback and SUV. One of the most superior AWD systems on the market. I've tried to derail this vehicle while trying to corner in the rain and its unbelievable that a vehicle can do the things it does. Easily handle speeds in excess of 100MPH, this vehicle just inspires confidence in the wet or dry. Doesn't get as dirty from daily driving due to its elevated stance. Technology package is a must and this vehicle is a keeper. You'll never touch your car keys again, just open the door and start your beastly engine.
