30 days in a tent

The tent is OFFICIALLY down.

 It has been very windy all day because of a cold front moving in. Well, I went outside with the dogs and discovered my much beloved tent had blown completely down and was in the woods, wrapped around the trees. I had to go out and rescue it from the trees and I took it down and put it away.      It was up from 21 June until today 16 November. That was a pretty darn good run and it went down by natural causes.

Okay..here's the plot:

   A woman living a pretty boring life as an English teacher suddenly receives an huge  inheritance from an aunt that she hardly knew. The inheritance is staggering....over a million dollars. But she finds out that in order to get the million dollars, she not only has to keep the aunt's store open, she has to fend off EVIL for the next five years. (Oh..and the aunt was actually her mother). That's why she has the power to fight off EVIL. (she figures all that out as the story goes along)..

Okay... I guess I shifted gears too fast and owe everyone an explanation.. I have started my NaNoWriMo project today. 

National Novel Writing Month 

I am going to TRY and write a novel in 30 days and to do so, I have to write a minmum of 1667 words a day. I started off today with 1693 words that was easier and faster than I thought it would be and I actually like my storyline . I hope it continues to go well..

I am just going to use this journal to keep track of my word count. (I'll post any tent news as well but this is going to be the NanoWriMo journal for at least 30 days..)

Keep chekcing in...feel free to ask questions, nudge me if I am not keeping up and I will try and keep everyone up to date on my progress. All words of encouagment will be duly noted.
