Happy Thoughts

Well it is official. I put the hummingbird feeders up this morning. I expect Scout to show up any day now and I don't want to risk having him appear and there not be any food for him. He was here on the 3rd of April last year and the 1st the year before that so....he and his family should be here soon.

I feel pretty good this morning. I slept fairly well. I struggled with a bit of a headache yesterday but it never turned into anything bad. I went to bed early and this morning it is gone.

I did a little shopping yesterday but I didn't buy anything. I saw a few things I would like. I may go back to Belk's later today and get a pair of those nice dress pants for $21. They are nice and I think they are worth $21. Sometimes I wish I could look a little nicer instead of dressing as sloppy as I do all the time. The problem is I can't get hubby to change ANYTHING he wears so if I look civilized, he still insists on looking like he does. I've tried buying him nicer pants and nicer shirts., jackets or sweaters. He won't wear them. And I've tried getting him to buy a decent pair of shoes but he won't wear anything but hiking boots. anywhere. with anything.  I don't know I think I've just sort of given up.

Today is April Fool/ I plan on telling him that I bid on an RV on eBay. That should be interesting. He will have a hissy  fit.

That's it. We are planning on doing a regular Tuesday today. I washed Cookie's blanket so she is ready for day care today and I suppose we will go to the range. Yipppeeeee. I have to choose lunch and right now I don't know what I want. I thought about the Japanese place for Bento boxes but I think I want something spicier. Mexican maybe? I don't know right now. I had a very bland lunch yesterday. A little too bland, I think.

Okay,,,,,gotta go get everyone fed.

Last night was interesting. Cookie got a piece of stuff from her bone caught between her teeth. It took an hour for me to get it out for her. Note to self: Dogs do NOT want to have their teeth flossed..
