Happy Thoughts

Well, sadly, we had to have Blanche put to sleep this morning. She started having continuous seizures at about 3:00 this morning and was NOT going to get any better, She had uncontrolled glaucoma and something blew a gasket behind her right eye. She was stiff as a board and and obviously in pain so although it was a difficult decision, we knew it was the right thing to do. She lived a long and happy life. We had a little funeral for her and I am sure this is the best thing we could have done. We are all very sad. Cookie has not come out from under the bed and hubby decided to cancel his usual night out with his friends.

]She will be missed by everyone.

  I am so very sorry your lost your little Blanche...and I am so so so sorry I missed this entry until now.  I know how hard it is to lose one of our babies ~ everything seems so different.  Take comfort in knowing you were an awesome mom and Blanche had a wonderful, loving life with you.  Again, sorry I wasn't here right away...I feel terrible.

  I am so sorry to hear that you've lost a family member.  Our dog, Austin, had to be put down last year, he was only eight years old but was ate up with cancer.  My oldest son and I were there with him when he passed, and it was so hard.  You are in my thoughts and prayers thru this time of grief.  But she is no longer suffering, and she's waiting for you.
