Well, it started raining...

Well, actually, it was raining.... all night and a good part of the day. It started raining last night and it was pouring so hard it rained in my bedroom window!.

But that didn't spoil the day. It made it pretty nice because it cooled down dramatically. I spent part of the morning going through my winter clothes and putting a big bag of stuff together to take to the Goodwill Store. (I buy so much stuff there that I have to return some every now and then.-). I have so many clothes and I never touch half of them sooooo. I did try on all my jeans. I have 7 pair and they actually fit so those stayed. And I went though all my turtlenecks. Those I kept. And I rearranged my sweaters and folded them nice and neat and folded the turtlenecks and put those away too. It was a pretty productive morning.

After my little foray through my closet, I took Cookie to the park. The rain let up a little bit so we headed on out and had a very nice two mile hike. It was pleasant because of it being 80 degrees, it barely made it to 70. We got rained in just a little but not enough to deter us from our hike. And when we got back to the Jeep, we had lunch. I had some leftover spaghetti and Cookie had a cheese stick and a peanut butter cracker. (I forgot to bring a real lunch for her but I didn't tell her that).

Hubby in the meantime, went to Best Buy to get a new monitor for his computer. The old one died yesterday so he replaced it with a HUGE one. I couldn't believe he bought such a big one. It looks like we could back the car up to the window of the computer room and watch a drive-in movie. I can literally see the website that he is on from across the room here. Oh well. It was what he wanted. I thought it was a little too much but since I got my laptop, I never use his desktop so........It's his and he likes it.

I made totally yummy homemade from scratch chicken pot pies for dinner and they were delicious. And I even boiled half a nice chicken breast for Cookie's dinner. Since Blanche is no longer with us, the dog feeding has dropped dramatically. Blanche would eat two breakfasts, lunch and three dinners. Now, Cookie barely touches breakfast, and she will eat dinner if she is really really hungry. I would go through 4 or 5 little containers of Little Cesar's dog food a day before. Now, Cookie hardly finishes one.

It is supposed to turn cooler over the next couple of days. I brought the cockatiels inside. Tonight it is going to be 49 and tomorrow it is supposed to be 39! Yikes. I am sure glad I didn't take my electric blanket off my bed.

That's it. Now we are in the dreaded 7-10 time that I hate. I hope there is something good on TV but I doubt it. There were a couple of good movies on TCM this morning that I enjoyed.

Tomorrow? A regular Tuesday for a change, I suppose. Cookie will go to day care and we will go to lunch and to the range. I hopw it isn't raining tomorrow.

Okay...gotta go be bored.

Good night for now.

Good night!
