Therapy. Cheerios and a guilty pleasure

Well, yesterday was interesting, in a Harriet Petersen sort of way.

I met my Crazy Friend over on the other side of town. She had three hours to kill but did not want to go back to her own house so she just hung out in the book store and McDonald's until it was time for me to meet her. I picked her up and drove her to her therapist.

While she went to see her therapist, I just wandered around for the hour and a half. I went to Todd and Moore to look for golf shoes for hubby. Unfortunately, they did not have any on close-out so we'll have to go to the other store on the other side of town. I stopped at the range and visited for a few minutes and then stopped at the SPCA thrift shop next to the range.

Amazingly, they had a driver there that I bought for hubby for $5. It was something that was new and wasn't there before. I was so excited when I saw it, I practically shoved a man who was also looking at the golf clubs out of the way. I was afraid he was going to grab it and I WANTED it. It is a fairly nice driver for $5. It's an inexpensive one new ($39.95) not like the one I bought at the pawn shop ($399.95) but when you are buying used things at thrift stores and pawn shops, you can't be picky. And it will be fine for hubby. I grabbed it for $5. it was one of those unexpected finds.

I went and collected Crazy Friend from therapy. I don't know how much good this therapist is doing. I having been telling her the same stuff that the therapist is telling her and I'm not charging her $85 an hour. My friend is now feeling very trapped by her "boyfriend" but she still refuses to do anything different and I don't think she ever will. If her daddy who died about 6 months ago were around, he would have thrown this freeloader out a long time ago but without daddy, she is totally adrift and basically helpless. She is trapped, he can be abusive, he is using her and all the money she has inherited and she is unable and somewhat unwilling to get him out. Even her therapist who is usually pretty neutral on the matter told her she needs to at least get him out of her house if not out of her life. But she won't. It's pretty hopeless I',m afraid. This is not going to turn out well. It is bad enough now and it may take another year or two or three but it is just a disaster. And with no adult leadership my friend is totally gullible and vulnerable. She keeps "hoping" he will change and "hoping" he'll become a better person. Yeah right. I keep "hoping" I'll win the lottery too.

After therapy we had a late lunch at a place called Harper's, a very nice upscale yuppie business lunch kinda place in Five Points. It was a very good lunch but it kinda creeped me out because we sat in the same booth where I sat with friend's mother, the week before she died. It was the last place she went out (I took her there) and she died suddenly a week later. I think the next time we go there I'll ask for a different booth. I didn't like it.

I got home late but fortunate;ly, I started dinner in the morning before I left the house. I made a yummy chicken with bow-tie pasta and spinach. I used tomato sauce and half & half to make the sauce and it was delicious but......I had left over half & half in the fridge. That was not good.

I couldn't help myself. I got up at midnight and had a bowl of Cheerios. I used the half & half and splash of milk and it was sooooooooooo delicious. I felt like a little kid when my grandmother would give me half & half on my cereal . Yummmmm. I had a little more this morning. Yum. I rarely buy half & half and so I just went a little crazy. I couldn't help myself.

That was it. Today should be a regular Tuesday pretty much. Cookie will go to Day Care. I want to get my hair trimmed (it's driving me crazy) and we need to go by Todd & Moore on the great golf shoe search. If we can't find golf shoes, he will have to just play in his tennis shoes for a while. Then it will be the usual range and lunch stuff.

The weather has been bad the last few days. We've had thunderstorms almost every afternoon. I would like to go play golf this evening but I don't think I'll be able to. And I am doubting whether or not I will get to play tomorrow evening. We're in that "thunderstorms every day at 5 o'clock" mode that we tend to get into here in the south. I don't like that.

And that is that. It is still early. Cookie woke me up at 5:30. And I feel pretty good right now. I had a little half-assed headache all day yesterday. I'm okay right now. I slept almost all night.

Blew a Golf Shoe

Well, yesterday turned out to be a very busy day, which was fine with me. I like to stay busy. I am just glad I didn't wake up with one of my "I did too much" migraines. I feel fine this morning, although I am a bit sore.

My heel doesn't feel too bad. it's been pretty good the last couple of days because I haven't been doing too much and I was VERY careful at the gym yesterday (I did calf raises but I stayed light on those).

I made it to the gym and had a very good workout. I really need to keep up my strength training. Even though I have gotten really bad about going, just because it is such a long way to drive (40 miles round trip) but I have got to continue, even if it is just one day a week. I am very strong for a woman of my age and I definitely don't want to lose that. I had a good, solid workout and I was glad I went.

After the gym, I went to the commissary and the PX. I bought golf balls at the PX. 18 for $7.99. That's the same price as Target but at least I don't have to pay tax at the PX. So I bought a box of golf balls. And I went to the commissary and bought $55 worth of groceries. That wasn't too bad. I thought I would get about $35 worth but I bought a few extra things.

After I got home and rested for about 15 minutes and had something cold to drink, hubby and I drove out to the golf course. We decided to try and play 9 holes before dinner from 3:00 to 5:00. it was fine. We had a pleasant time until on the 3rd hole, the sole of hubby's 20 year old golf shoes came apart. So he played the rest of the game in golf moccasins. So I guess tomorrow, we will be making a trip to Todd & Moore (a loal sporting goods store) and look for some golf shoes for him.

We didn't get to finish our 9 holes because a big ole thinderstorm rolled in. We gave up at the 7th hole and headed on home. It was pleasant enough. I keep encouraging him to go out and play a few rounds on his own so he can dawdle and aim and find his way around by himself. I hope he does.

That was it. It was a very busy day/ I didn't have to cook dinner though. I made sandwiches with chips and cole slaw and that was plenty. After dinner, the thunderstorm opened up and the evening started dragging for me again so I went and laid down to read my book and fell asleep.

So that was my very busy Sunday. Today I am meeting my Crazy Friend under somewhat dubious circumstances and driving her to her therapist. We will have lunch and probably do a little shopping. I would like to go to that pawn shop and see if I can buy a driver for hubby but I'm afraid to go back there right now. I might check some of the other pawn shops in town.

Okay..gotta go. I have chicken cooking for Cookie . And I need to get dressed and head out the door.

A Busy 4th

Well, we had a very nice but a very busy 4th.

I did get out and played a round of golf about 10:00. The course was busy but not mobbed and I was able to get in between a father and son who were walking too so there was no rush. It was hot but I went slow and made it around just fine. I'm glad I went. I enjoyed it.

And oddly enough....of all people, I ran into my blacksmith out there playing golf. That was funny. I never pictured him playing golf but he was out there having a good time. It was nice to see him. He is a very nice man and an honest-to-goodness real cowboy.

After golf, I came home, had a light lunch and just cooled off for a little while until we headed out to my husband's friend's place for the 4th. We stopped at Baskin-Robbins and got a beautiful ice cream cake for dessert and bought flowers too. The BBQ they made was sooooooo yummy. Ribs, homemade cole slaw, fresh tomatoes, baked beans)I don't usually have seconds but I did last night, it was all so good. And I had a piece (a real full-sized piece) of the ice cream cake too.

Unfortunately, a HUGE thunderstorm rolled in about 30 minutes before the fireworks were supposed to start so that was abruptly canceled. I think they made a hasty decision though because the storm went right past by in about 30 minutes, as quickly as it came. So we didn't get to see their fireworks but there were plenty more from surrounding venues that could be seen easily.

The dogs had fun. Sadly, our friend's wife had to put her dog to sleep last week so he was missed. But their daughter brought along her brand new 10 week old Daschund puppy who was absolutely adorable. Cookie did NOT know what to think of such a tiny puppy. But she was gentle and they all played. Until the thunder and the fireworks started frazzling their little doggie nerves. The puppy was scared and Cookie was shaking and trying to climb in my lap.

We left at about 10:00 (which is pretty late for us....past our bedtime, for sure.) And when we got home, we just crashed. We were tired and stuffed but it was a fun 4th, even though we didn't officially have fireworks.

Today, I am not sure of what we are doing. I think Cookie is pretty wiped out so I don't think we will take her to the park. She needs to stay home and have a nice quiet day under the bed. We can go out to lunch and wander around for a little bit. Today is my day to choose lunch but I am sooo stuffed, I don't know what I want. I am thinking either a salad or sushi but I don't know for sure yet.

Okay.....gotta go. I have already fed Persimmon but I haven't fed the cats. I'm waiting for Pesky to show up. I think he hid because of the fireworks last night and I haven't seen him yet. And Cookie is curled up on my chair. She had fun but she's not exactly a party animal

Up early...

Well, I am up and awake.

I had originally thought about rushing out first thing this morning and going to play golf but in a moment of clarity, I decided not to. As hubby pointed out yesterday, I have all day so I realized there really is no point in my rushing out there at 8:00 and rushing around to feed everyone. I still want to go out and play but I am going to wait until about 10:00 to go out there. I just don't feel like trying to get out there so early.

Yesterday turned out to be very pleasant. We made it out to the park with Cookie. We stopped at Subway and got one of those $5 foot-longs (that's a really good deal). I brought along chips and drinks and we ate out there at the park and then took Cookie on her walk. She enjoyed it although she did get a little tired towards then end. Two miles is a LOT for her little bitty 3" legs! And it was pretty warm.

That's it. We are going to our friend's tonight for the 4th. They make BBQ and there's a big fireworks show by the lake where they live. It's very nice. We went last year and enjoyed it. And Cookie LOVES to go and play with their dogs. They RACE up and down the stairs. It's funny to watch them.

So that's it. I am going to try and play golf this morning but I am just not going to rush out the door. I need to feed everyone and finish doing the laundry.

footnote: the US Olympic volleyball team trying to raise $10,000 so they can pay the fine because they don't want to wear the regulation shorts? Bullcrap. I wouldn't give them a dime just because they want to make a fashion statement.

Early golf this morning

Well. The golf thing is going remarkably well and I am very pleased. I got a new pair of golf shoes on Saturday for half price (that was a great find) and I also got a driver and a great putter for a super price. I love the driver. It kicks ass. When it makes contact properly. it is the most satisfying sound. I didn't think I needed one but I am really glad I got it now.

We went out yesterday and played but I was HORRIBLE. I couldn't hit the broadside of a BARN. We played with two very nice women we met on the course and I think I was distracted by talking to them and not concentrating on my game. It was awful. And I got soooo hot. I just about collapsed when I got home. I put some ice on my heel that hurt like crazy and laid down for an hour. I was a wreck. Hubby did fairly well but I was a mess.

And that really bugged me. So I got up early this morning and went out and played again. By myself. And I had an excellent game. I actually turned in my scorecard. I was very pleased with how well I did. When I am by myself I can focus on what I am doing. I was much happier.

After my golf game, I came home for just a few minutes and then headed out. I went to Five Guys Burgers and had a little hamburger for lunch. It was VERY good. I do like their hamburgers. And it's one of the best $5 lunches I have found.

I didn't stay at Fashion Island long because there wasn't anything there I really wanted. So I headed up Two Notch to the Goodwill Store. I got a really nice polo shirt for hubby. I didn't get anything for myself. I have so many clothes I don't know what to do with them. But he can always use a nice shirt. So I got one for him. He's not crazy about it but I like it and I think it looks nice on him.

Let's see....I stopped at WalMart and bought a few things. I actually found a really nice tank top there for myself (I love tank tops in the summer) and I bought a few small groceries. I looked at golf balls but didn't buy any. We need some more but I am going to wait and get then at Dick's next week. The have the best price there. (24 balls for $7.99) Not even WalMart could beat that.

And I stopped at Target and got a little bit of VetWrap to fix the handle on my golf cart. It worked perfectly.

We are going to take Cookie to the park this evening. She wants to go out sooooo bad. So we're going to get Subway sandwiches, take some chips and drinks and eat dinner at the park and then take her on her walk to the Badger pond. It's clouding up some. I hope it doesn't rain. She will be terribly disappointed if we don't get to go.

That's it/ It was a busy and hot but pleasant day.

Tomorrow? I may try and play golf again in the morning. We are going to a friend's for the 4th for BBQ and fireworks. And Cookie will get to visit with their dogs. She enjoys that. They play and run up and down the stairs endlessly while we are there. Plus, they have a new puppy which I am sure will totally puzzle Cookie.

That's it. I guess I need to get everyone fed early so we can go to the park/ It was a very nice day. Gotta go for now.

Lunch and Golf

Well, today is hubby's day to choose lunch and I suspect that I know exactly where he is going to go. We have a really delicious BBQ place about 5 miles from here. He wanted to go the other day and I wanted to go to the new Cracker Barrel. So now that it is his day to choose, I am about 99% sure that we will wind up with BBQ today. Which is fine because it is delicious.

Speaking of hubby, I kind of stole his thunder this week because I really wanted to see about joining the local golf club where we have been playing. And to my surprise, he had already bought me a year's membership. He wanted to give it to me for our anniversary next week but since I asked him about it, he gave it to me yesterday. I was very pleased. Now I can play anytime, as much as I want and we can play whenever we want. It's great and I am very happy that he went ahead and got the memebership for us both actually. I am glad he went ahead and bought the membership. Yay.

Crazy Friend Update:
We went to Penney's on Wednesday. It took almost 30 minutes but she bought a new purse. (I would not let her leave the store until she got a new bag). Unfortunately, I did NOT make her switch the purses while I was there with her. I talked to her this morning and she has not changed bags. She is still dragging around that old, raggy, disgusting, disorganized piece of crap because it "reminds her of daddy" and she isn't ready to part with it. Give me a break. I told her when I talked to her that if she comes over this morning and isn't carrying the new purse, I would kill her. (Or just not drive her to therapy every week.) This is what I am dealing with.

That's it. I am just catching up with little things. I dont know where I left off. I got new Ryka shoes from QVC. I love those shoes. I can order them from TV, take them out of the box and wear them all day long without any worry. They do make excellent shoes. This is my 5th pair. And I was going to take my old pair to the Goodwill but I washed them and I think I will just keep them and move them down the food chain.

It is entirely too hot to take Cookie anywhere. She is getting bored but it get up to 85 by 10:00 in the morning. She will go to Day Care on Tuesday but we can't even take her to the park, it is just too hot for her to enjoy herself.

Okay.....gotta go.

It has been a good week. I got a membership to the golf club, I made it to the gym and this morning, since I had an extra hour with nothing to do, I went ahead and made dinner so I wont have to cook tonight. Homemade hot chicken pot pies. Yummy.

The summer of Golf Continues.

Boy, am I tired. We had a very nice day but I am wiped out. Instead of doing a regular Tuesday (taking Cookie to day care, going to lunch and to the range) hubby and I decided it was such a nice day that we would go and play golf instead. I ran Cookie to Day Care early and came back. Hubby had his car loaded up with all the golf clubs and stuff.

We headed out at about 10:00 before it got too terribly hot and had a really fun golf game. It was very quiet out there. We were the only ones out on the course for a long time so we took our time and practiced. We hit a couple of extra tee shots and practiced chip shot and putting as we went along. It was fun. I was doing well. Hubby was having a rough time and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. But it was still fun. It took us nearly two hours just to get around 9 holes but we were not in a rush. I got fried. It was 90 degrees by the time we finished .I thought I put on sunscreen but I must have missed a few spots. And I am really tired. That was a lot of golf.

We headed back in to Fashion Island and had finally had lunch at the new Cracker Barrel that opened up about a month ago. It was very good because we were very hungry but a Cracker Barrel is a Cracker Barrel. Dejavu all over again.

On the way back to pick up Cookie, we stopped at the car wash on Clemson Road and sucked all the sand out of hubby's car. They let you use the big vacuum cleaners for free even if you don't wash your car. Then we got Cookie and headed home. She was glad to come home. There's a young guy who works at the kennels and she is just a little afraid of him. Unfortunately, he was the one who took care of her today and she didn't like that at all. She was sooooo excited to go to Day Care and then when she took one look at him, she tried to run the other way. With the young women who work there, she just trots away and never even looks back.

But we got back and every thing was fine. But we are both very tired. Since we didn't eat lunch until 3 o'clock, I just made sandwiches and some baked beans for dinner. Neither one of us was terribly hungry and a sandwich was just fine.

Yesterday was interesting. I took my crazy friend to her therapist and spent the entire day with her. We had an very good lunch and did a little bit of shopping although at the end of the day, she'd managed to lose her credit card (which is something she does frequently because she never puts it back in the same place, she just shoves it back in her purse). I was pretty much exhausted when I got back and hubby and I just went and got some hamburgers for dinner. And there was a HUGE thunderstorm that came through. It didn't last long but it was pretty intense.

Tomorrow? I plan on having a quick lunch with Crazy Friend and I am going to try and get her to go to Penney's or Belk's and buy a new purse that isn't a black hole (that's a whole other story that relates to the lost credit card debacle) and a new wallet. She needs both and seems unable to go out on her own and buy them. So we are going to do a little shopping tomorrow, whether she likes it or not.

And now I am VERY tired. Very. I could go to bed right now and frankly, I am not far from doing just that.

Well, this actually turned out to be a very good week because I did everything I planned to do and it all worked out very well. It's always nice when a plan comes together without a single hitch.

Wednesday was a nice quiet day. I took Cookie to the park early in the morning and we had a nice walk that she enjoyed thoroughly. After we got back my crazy friend came over and we had an 'okay' lunch at one of the little local restaurants. It wasn't my choice, it was where she wanted to go. The food wasn't that great but it was lunch so.... The rest of the day and evening was quite pleasant. Hubby went off to the range so I had the house to myself. I did a few chores and then watched my favorite stupid TV show "Roto-Rooter Ghost Hunters".

Thursday.........Thursday I went to the gym and had a good workout. I tried to keep it just a notch lighter though so i wouldn't wind up with one of those "I-did-too-much-at-the-gym" migraines. I'm glad I went. I did find out that the one and only gym that charged a monthly membership (it's the only one that is air-conditioned) is now free. That was interesting. I used to go there when I first started working out. Now all 4 gyms on post are free.

And Friday. Friday the timing couldn't have been better. I had planned to play golf by myself on Friday morning. It was cool and comfortable so I didn't feel the need to rush out there. I got out about 930./ There was hardly anybody there so I pretty much had the course to myself. I was able to hit a couple of balls of of each tee and when i got to the greens, I could practice my chip shots and putting without holding anybody up behind me. When someone finally did show up, they were one full hole behind me so I didn't have to rush at all. It was very nice.

After my golf game, I could hear thunder in the distance and I drove directly into a huge thunderstorm. Talk about good timing! On the way back into town I had to stop and put the doors back up on the Jeep.

I continued with my day as planned though. I wanted a burger from Five Guys so I went there and got exactly what my stomach wanted and it was very happy. I didn't want to drive too far down Two Notch but I decided to stop at Target and see how much their golf balls were. Happily they were actually cheaper than WalMart so I bought a box and split it with hubby. (If her can buy the ammo for the guns all the time, I can buy a $9 box of golf balls and share them.)

I also stopped at the feed store and bought a sack of grain for Persimmon that is considerably less expensive than the $18 a bag Equine Senior that we have been feeding her. The Equine Senior is definitely the best horse feed for her but it is getting so expensive that we've been cutting back on it and I think her weight is dropping off. She's old and needs some extra feed but at $18 a bag, we just can't afford to increase the good stuff. So I got a bag of inexpensive sweet feed just so she can have some extra, along with her Equine Senior. It may not be the most nutritious but it will give her some more calories (think getting an order of french fries with your meal. Those kind of extra calories)> She seems to be eating it just fine and so far hasn't minded the new stuff. Horses can be very picky eaters and changing their feed can be tricky. She seems okay with it.

That was it. After a very yummy dinner last night (pork tenderloin, macaroni and cheese and fresh corn) we took Cookie for a nice lone walk in the park. It was fun and as usual, she enjoyed it. We did not get home until almost 8:00 and once again, hit a huge thunderstorm. The sky broke open just as we pulled in the driveway and it rained all night.

That was it. I planned out my week and actually did everything I'd planned to do. Yay.

Today? I am not sure what we are doing. Since we took Cookie to the park last night, we won't be taking her this morning. She is still asleep under my bad. It's dreary and alittle bit drizzly. I've already feed everyone and put out fresh food for Scout. I suspect we will just go into Fashion Island, have lunch and then come back. We really don't have any running around to do. It is hubby's day to choose where we eat lunch.

That's it. Everything worked out very well and it has been a pleasant week. The temperatures have been staying down and the thunderstorms have been well timed.

I love it when a plan comes together.

Created a Monster

Well, I may have created a monster. Hubby and I went out early Monday morning and played 9 holes of golf. Much to my surprise, he is LIKING it. And he is trying to play well and he is trying to learn. The thing about hubby is when he sets his mind to do something, he doesn't just do it. he has to be really good at it. So he was out there working on his drives and he was reading the green when he was trying to putt. He said he really had a good time and he thought it might be a good idea if we just went ahead and joined the golf club in a couple of months. I am still in SHOCK.The first time I tried to get him to play golf about 20 years ago, he wanted NOTHING to do with it. Yesterday, he really enjoyed it and he is willing to play and learn. Amazing.

That was yesterday. After golf, I went to lunch with a friend. Her 80 year old mother has been in the hospital for over a month now after a really freak accident (a dresser and a TV set fell on her) and it has been very difficult and stressful for the family. I feel bad for her but this is just the beginning. Her mother may recover somewhat but she will never be able to live on her own again and she will need continuous care now. That is so hard to deal with. But we had a very good lunch at that little Puerto Rican place that we found. It was delicious.

Today, was a very pleasant day. We took Cookie to Day Care which she always enjoys. Lunch was delicious. We went to a place called The Village Bistro. It is just what it sounds like, a small local place. The food is soooo good. And we had a half price coupon and that made it even better. I had grilled tilapia with fried green tomatoes and collard greens. It was soooo good. The fish had yummy dill sauce on it. And they serve theses delicious soft little yeast rolls with olive oil. Yum yum yum yum. Hubby had two grilled pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and fried green tomatoes. Yummy.

We stopped at the Goodwill Store, not to buy anything but to drop a big bag of stuff off. I have so many clothes that sometimes. I just have to go through my closet and get rid of some things. I usually just keep a big bag in my room and throw things in it every now and then. When it gets full, I take it to the Goodwill. I buy enough stuff there, I might as well drop a few things back.

We also went to Best Buy and got a new microwave to replace the one that died (it was still under warranty so we just got a new one for no charge.) I wanted a smaller one but since they wouldn't give us a refund for the difference, we just got the same one that died. it is fine. I could actually do without one but hubby can't live without it (and it was already paid for so......)

We went to the range and shot a little bit/ It was fine but VERY hot. I shot my .22 for a little while but I couldn't stay out there very long. That was is.

We headed on back and picked up Cookie. She had a good time. They let her watch Animal Planet from her "condo". Dinner was easy. I made smoked sausage and orzo pasta for hubby. I had a bowl of cereal, a little ham sandwich and a cup of coffee.

Now it's quiet but it's almost 7:30/ I could go and read my book (that's a whole other story....bad pun I know) but if I do, I will probably fall asleep. That would be okay. Sometimes I wish I could just go to sleep when I am bored and there isn't anything to do. If I could just sleep or fast forward through those times, I would be happy.

Tomorrow? I plan to take Cookie to the park early and then MAYBE go to lunch (I don't know about that since I am no longer on the social calendar). Thursday I would like to go to the gym and Friday I want to go and play golf by myself so I can practice a little bit. (I can't have hubby getting better than me since this was all my idea)/

That's it. It was a VERY nice day.

Flag Day

Yay...it's Flag Day. Which of course, leads up to the 4th of July. And tomorrow is Father's Day (Although I think it will no longer be the high holy day that it used to be). Lots of summertime holidays, most of which are pretty tolerable. Not much guilt involved, no pressure to buy presents and spend money/ I like most of the summer holidays.

Right now, I am just killing time. Cookie woke me up early (5:46). I thought about taking her to the park but I just couldn't get moving and I don't think she was too interested in going either. She is not a morning dachshund. She's willing enough but if she has her way, she'd rather sleep in.

So here I am, just killing time. I fed everyone and put out fresh food for Scout. He is coming around to the feeders a little more regularly now so I am keeping the food fresh and clean for him. it's always nice to see him and his family.

I had plenty of time so I went ahead and made a nice batch of chili for dinner tonight. I have a pie crust left so i want to make yummy chili pies. So that is done and I won't have to cook tonight. Yay for me.

I don't think we are doing too much today. Hubby wants to go to that all-you-can-eat BBQ place for lunch. The food there is VERY good and you have to be careful that you don't totally stuff yourself. I limit myself to one plateful of food (but I do have the banana pudding which is so fresh and yummy.). I don't usually care for buffets but this place is exceptionally good. And it is his day to choose.

that's it. It is not going to be quite as hot today as it has been. The 100's are gone and it is only supposed to be 85 today (Break out the down jackets!) So I am going to put the cockatiels out on the screen porch again. I had to bring them inside when it was so hot because they were miserable outside. But out they will go this morning.

And now I guess I will go and get ready to head for lunch. we can leave pretty early, the place opens at 10:30.
