""STARTING NEW PLANTS IN CLAY POTS" COMPLETED WATERCOLOR by R.L.Huffstutter (watercolor pencils used) March 2008" from huffstutterr's AOL Pictures Public Gallery.STARTING NEW PLANTS...is yet another one of my works featuring the traditional clay pot. As usual, due to lack of patience and talent, I have not painted any specific plant, just green foilage and extended stalks in order to make the viewer believe the plants are real. Taking time to learn to paint an identifiable plant would be beneficial, I realize, but that would take time away from my constant practice of painting the clay pots, an accomplishment that I hope I might claim in due time.
