How about a beachfront apartment with a view like this?

Recently, Earl and I were meandering along the beach just north of Laguna Beach, discussing the value of the real estate for sale in the more rugged terrain that could still be considered "beachfront property." He stopped, drew a line in the sand and chuckled. I asked him if we were about to have some kind of religious experience. "No," he replied, "I am simply without a  pen or pencil at the moment, and I want to write myself a mental note." When he had finished making a series of lines and some unidentifiable doodles, he took a long look out toward the sunset and pointed toward a small fishing boat that appeared to be anchored. He started to relate some type of philosophical tale but stopped as we were met by the smiles of three lovely young women sauntering toward us, headed toward the city beach and downtown Laguna. One had a set of bongos, the other two were carrying plastic thermal bags, the type one uses to carry soda and other beverages. He looked at me; I looked at him. The young women glanced at us. They continued on their journey, laughing and talking about a party. "Wouldn't it be great to be young again?" he asked, posing the question to the Eternal Father, not me. I understood his feelings. Youth is so fleeting. But it was a fact I had already accepted and had promised not to waste any more time regretting the folly that was youth.
