ONE OF THE BEST FLIGHTS I EVER HAD WAS IN A LOCKHEED CONSTELLATION. My most memorable flight in a Connie was from Cherry Point MCAS to San Diego's NAS North Island. It was one beautiful flight with extra time spent over the Grand Canyon.

Below the aircraft, the Cooks River has been diverted (it used to run parallel to the shoreline and exit near where the nose of the aircraft is), but the extension into Botany Bay of the cross runway, 16/34, has not yet commenced.
