"Tijuanna go out?" from marozzo8's AOL Pictures Public Gallery.
THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE WIDE AND BEAUTIFUL BOULEVARDS THAT TRAVERSE THIS SOUTHERN MEXICAN RESORT TOWN...and if you think it is beautiful in the daytime, just wait until after dark...when there are nightly fireworks displays, last man standing fights, uncontrolled traffic with no rules permitted, on-the-street vendor sales of liquor, and much more unsupervised activities of extreme behavioral patterns.

THE OLD LAS VEGAS...BY ROBERT L. HUFFSTUTTER
The OLD LAS VEGAS
Remembering some of my first times in Las Vegas...by Robert L. Huffstutter...the web site below is not mine but one I found when Davelaf mentioned the old neon signs of Las Vegas. His photos of some old signs inspired me to gather some of my thoughts about the Las Vegas I saw in 1960, my first trip there and subsequent trips to this desert miracle after returning to the USA after a tour of duty in the Orient. Beginning in 1960 and then from 1964 throughout the late 70s, I made numerous trips.

"IS THAT EARL R. STONEBRIDGE ARRIVING OR DEPARTING? Where has he been...or where is he headed next? Photo by DHPR LTD" from huffstutterr's AOL Pictures Public Gallery.

WHY HAS EARL COME TO TOWN? THAT IS THE QUESTION...IS IT BY CHANCE OR CIRCUMSTANCE OR IS THERE SOMETHING NEW IN THE ART WORLD THAT BECKONS? IF IT IS TRUE THAT WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS, THE PUBLIC MIGHT NEVER KNOW WHAT IS IN THE STEEL BRIEFCASE...

The GOLDEN GATE CASINO...One of the Best Ever!

The young lady from LIVE MAGAZINE had already started the interview when I arrived. I was a few minutes late and she had mistakenly assumed my associate was the interviewee. I sat down and listened to her repeating his statement about his philosophy about travel. "So, like you feel that mind over matter dictates pleasure and that geographical location serves only as the stage for mental energy to create a suitable backdrop or set?"
Earl chuckled and explained the confusion. She was somewhat embarassed about confusing us; she apologized and continued in the error of her ways. "Could I assume that your feelings about travel are similar to Mr. Stonebridge's?" she asked.
"Lesson one," I said to her, "never assume anything. Now, about Earl's philosophy about travel, not that it matters here, but you don't expect me to believe that nonsense from anyone who maintains and pilots their own Gulfstream do you?"
