Remembering some of my first times in Las Vegas...by Robert L. Huffstutter...the web site below is not mine but one I found when Davelaf mentioned the old neon signs of Las Vegas. His photos of some old signs inspired me to gather some of my thoughts about the Las Vegas I saw in 1960, my first trip there and subsequent trips to this desert miracle after returning to the USA after a tour of duty in the Orient. Beginning in 1960 and then from 1964 throughout the late 70s, I made numerous trips.
