Are We Having Fun Yet?
Are you having fun yet? I sure am! Here's some tags I made to send off with some of the brown paper bag scrapbooks I've sent out. I didn't have these made up for some of the first ones I sent out, so if you didn't get one, sorry! The rest of you, enjoy!
I've sent out quite a few brown paper bag scrapbooks, so if you've asked for on it should arrive any day! I've set up a Flicker Group just for these (and any others) brown paper bag scrapbooks you all make! Anyone can put a photo in there! I'm a little nervous as this is the first Flickr Group I've set up! So come say "hi" and throw in some Brown Paper Bag Scrapbooks photos! And, my offer is still open! Just leave me a comment AND an email with your mailing address and I'll send you a blank brown paper bag scrapbook to get you started on a FUN project!
So, I told you all about my 500 brown paper bags. Yesterday I got an email from a friend of mine who said, "Help!". She needed a craft for her 35 campers up at Camp Fircroft in a couple weeks! Yes, you guessed it! "I have just the thing, it should work out perfect!" My friend is stopping by today, I'll let you know what she thinks of this project for her campers. If it were ME, I'd be a happy camper! I told her I had the supplies for the bags! Of course I do! I was thankful that God put that question in my email box, I think I had the right answer! I've got bags and bags and bags...enough for all the campers!
Moving right along... Be sure to check out the online artist's auction called Angels for Brianna. I bid on something by my blogging buddy, Jennifer Pagnelli! There is a lot of art there, but more important is the fact that they are raising money in memory of a precious 17 year daughter of a fellow artist (for her school). You can read more about Brianna on her mother's (Iva) blog here. Very sad death, but very heartening to see all the bloggers come together in memory of Brianna.
Next... Karla has opened a new Etsy store! I was so lucky because I jumped right over there and was her very first customer! I bought a pair of pink hanging earrings, that I love! She sent it in a sweet satin bag, with a sweet note and hanging tag, that you can see here! Do go look at her beautiful items here!
And then, Amy Elise is celebrating her ONE year anniversary of her Etsy store by having a drawing for a huge lot of tags and more! Go over to her blog and leave her a comment to be entered in her drawing!
Now, one final topic: I'm pretty mad at Amazon right now. They have totally insulted me. I was even a Prime Member...once. Maybe because I didn't re-join...is that why they insulted me? Anyway, here's my story. You know when you sign on Amazon, they have a list of "recommendations" for you to look at and hopefully purchase? Well, when I sign on I usually get books like, "The French Inspired Home," or "Bend the Rules Sewing", or "Altered Imagery", and books by Elizabeth George (Christian woman's writer) or by Cath Kidston... you get the point. But no, I guess they were mad at me because I didn't rejoin their little "prime" program....and they said they recommend for my reading pleasure......"Cooking Basics for Dummies."
Wouldn't you be insulted, too?

Thanks for the shout out on the shop! Don't worry about your Flickr group - I'm sure you will have many people joining in. I can't believe your Amazon story! You should right/call them and tell them how insulted you are and that they should give you FREE prime membership! Who needs 'um - there are so many other online superstores these days.
