Blue Skies Mid-Week
Super day here! I love blue skies!
I took my mail down to the mail box today at lunch and the goats were crying like babies! My neighbor raises goats, has about 50 right now, and just started to wean the littlest ones from their mommies yesterday. I brought out a pack of old bread to lure them over to me at the fence line to try to get a couple pictures.
The little kids are so sweet! In the picture above, doesn't the little white one on the right look like a puppy?
The big ones with horns are quite a bit more aggressive! This is the field just across the road from me! So enjoy the pictures!
I made a set of ATC's for a Swap-Bot trade I'm in. The theme/color is teal. Go figure...I signed up for a swap regarding a color, and I think I'm color blind! Is teal blue or green. Or turquoise. Or all three? I used several shades, with the background paper copied off in teal colored (supposedly--come on, use your imagination)... Here's my finished sets. Each of my two partners receives two. You think they will throw me out of Swap-Bot now????
I've got to go to town now..errands to run. And, I'm going to try to stop at the place where a young couple from our church is getting married (they are not using our church, rather a building "downtown"). They asked me to be the photographer! Yes, I see you're all laughing now....
I'd like to share a picture one of my sisters emailed to me last night after reading my blog. My challenge was to "go out and try something new!" She mowed the lawn...for the first time... Sorry Sister #1, I haven't laughed that hard in ages! So, if Sis #1 gives me permission, I will share that picture with you. Check back tomorrow....
Go out and enjoy the blue sky if you are anywhere near the Oregon coast! It's a beautiful day!

Those goats are SOOOO cute!! We don't see too many in Chicago, you are so lucky! Your ATC's are fantastic :)

Once my nephew was staying w/us and saw me outside mowing, and Bruce inside doing dishes!!! All he could say was, "My mom never would do that!" But she did!
