It's the girls' turn!

Okay, we'll get to why I said, "It's the girls' turn!" in just a minute.  But right now I must show the picture my Sis #1 gave me permission to share (she did).  The following picture is of her backyard, after her first time mowing a lawn.  First time in her life.  (She's 55, I'm one of her younger sisters, well, all her sisters are younger, that's why she's #1.)  She saw my charge to you all to "go try something new" and sent this picture!  She did say she had done it before reading my blog, but great minds think alike.... It was the same day, so it counts for trying something new!  When I opened this  emailed picture I burst into laughing!  Only, because, you know.... Her artwork done on the grass was just so beautiful...and unique!  Here it is:

Her name is Sue.  Leave a comment for her here!   *smile*  She's a faithful reader of this blog!  That was her very first time operating a lawn mower.  Kudos!

Next I must tell you how much my blog is worth!  It's worth $16,936.20.  You can check to see how much YOUR blog is worth at this site.  I don't know where he comes up with his value, but I'll take it.  Do you think I can report this on my P&L?  (Profit and loss statement.)

Notes to mention:  R is on her way to visit eeee.  I told R to ask eeee a few questions.  Such as, how can I use gesso in crafting.  And, that E6000 glue is very potent, do you use that in your basement studio and is that why you seem so happy all the time???  *smile*   R is my sister,  eeee is her sister-in-law, in separate states.  I think we will hear the answer to these questions and more real soon!

Today is the last day to sign up for over 500 separate blog drawings.  You can go to Rock's in My Dryer's blog for the list.  Again, my free offer is still open!  See post below.

Now, can you tell I have no new photos to share?  Unless you want more of the quack-quack-duck-duck ATC's or the goats!  I'll just get on with my "story of the day"...

Last month is was "Nephew" month.  You know everything that was happening was happening to some of my nephews.  Here's the partial list:  1) One nephew graduated from high school; 2) one nephew moved out on his own, to a different state!; 3) one nephew graduated from college; 4) one nephew got married!

But this month it's the girls' turn to have some kudos!  My nieces have had a busy month.  Here's my list I came up with today:    1) One niece is teaching culinary skills to children, and ... took a nasty burn on the arm when a child turned and burned my niece on the arm with a hot skillet!  She's was teaching French cooking, and they were making crepes; 2) one niche is The Speaker at a Camp for children, she came all the way from another state to Oregon to be The Speaker for the week.  I wish I could have heard at least one of her "talks"; 3) one niece went to Nepal to teach children!  I don't even know how many hours and flights she took to get there!  She's very brave in my book!  Please keep her in your "thoughts" and prayers.

Have a lovely evening!

Blessings!

*Heidi*
