Paper Valentines

Sewing paper Valentines has become my favorite activity lately...I have other projects I should be working on, but these take my heart!

After signing up for a few swaps I thought I'd better get started making some Valentines!  Here's some tags I'm working on for "Vintage Valentine's Day Tag Book Swap".  It supposed to be "vintage", but do you think I'm going "grunge"?  LOL, just a thought...  Oh, and I'm making 21 of these!  Here's what I have so far...

I also signed up for Heather's Hippity Hop Easter Swap!  This one gives me some time, should be fun...

And, for another new skill... (cough, ut hum, cough)...my sister-in-law taught me how to crochet!  I had bought a "How To Crochet" book and the yarn to make a granny square afghanLOL, that lasted about ten seconds....I quickly said, "I think I'll just start with a pretty scarf!"  So, when Ifinish that "pretty scarf" I'll be sure to post a picture. It's fun and I'm happy to finally learn how!

Oh, just wanted to mention a new blogger you can go say "hi" to... Her name is Laura and she's "All About Pretty"!

Have a great weekend!

Blessings!

I love your paper valentines!! They are just beautiful!  I signed up for some swaps, as well, so I better get started!  Congratulations on learning to crochet.  I have wanted to learn for years...I have yarn, needles, books, etc. but I just haven't tried it yet.  My mom says she will show me, so.....

Oh those Valentines are just the sweetest!  I love Valentine's day!  And I'm so glad you shared the link on the Easter swap.  I saw someone else post about it but there wasn't a link.  Can't wait to take a peek.  XO
