I'm Day 6 ~ Vintage Spoon Magnets were my gift!
Today is Day 6 of the "Hippity Hop Easter Swap", and I was Day 6. So today 10 other swappers are opening (unless you've peeked or cheated-LOL) the item I made for the swap. I made Vintage Spoon Magnets, with bird's nests on them! Here are the 11 gifts I sent out:

Here are my "ladies in waiting" on my refrigerator:

In case any of you try to make these, I"ll give a few pointers: You must find the strongest magnet for the backs (or they'll slip down your frig door to the floor!), and then use the Stinky E6000 glue to glue them on. Then you must let them sit for a couple weeks to get rid of the Stinky glue smell! I'll write a tutorial some day, I promise, but that's pretty much the trick of the trade on these! Oh, and to begin with, find vintage spoons (forks can be used too) and don't polish them, we want the vintage look!
Here's one of the ones I sent out, each was individual in it's look. I loved adding the vintage seam binding ribbon, too:

Here's another group photo of my "ladies":

I've had fun so far opening my daily count down to Easter gifts. You can see the pictures in the Hippity Hop Easter Swap Flickr Group. So far I've opened:
Day 1 was Kim of Because I Said So:
Day 2 was Amber of Inventive Soul:
Day 3 was Joyce of Scrap for Joy
Day 4 was Jill of Cottage of Memories ~special note here: Jill is a new blogger! She's wonderful, so go visit her blog and say "hi"!
Day 5 was Tamy of Simply Mein
Day 6 was myself, so here's just one of the 11 I made:

And I still have 5 more days to open! So much fun! There's plenty of photos of all the gifts from all the color groups at the Flickr site, Hippity Hop Easter Swap.

Special Note: A quilt giveaway is going on over at "The Old Red Barn Co"...go quickly and enter! You only have until tomorrow, March 19! Run!
Special Sign: Here's a little boy's sign I painted last week for a set of triplet baby boys:

Special Esty Sign: For the Etsy Tulip Challenge in my group, Cottage Style Street Team, I painted this tulip sign:

When you shop Etsy, be sure to type in CSST in your search and you'll come up with the most fabulous goodies, I promise!
Special Cookies: I also made sugar cookies shaped as a tulip, but guess what? We ate them all before I had a chance to take any photos! YUM! Yesterday I made sugar cookies shaped like 3 leaf clovers, but again...Melissa got to them before I had a chance to photograph. I see some of you have already got the new Martha Stewart Cookies book in your hot little hands! Lucky you! (That's my way of saying I hope everyone had a good St. Patrick's Day yesterday! When Melissa stopped by she pinched me real hard...I wasn't wearing green! LOL)
Special Times Coming up: Easter is quickly approaching, and I've got plenty to do before that. Jessica, our Miss Collage Girl, will be arriving Saturday night! I must clean and shop before then. Another big day, which falls on Easter this year, is our little John Mark's 2nd birthday! So, there's be a big party for him on Saturday evening. Then on Monday, the day after Easter, Jessica and I are going to hop in my car and go for our annual "Spring Girls' Road Trip"! Whoo hoo! Yipppee! Fun and more fun! We'll be meeting my younger sister's fiance for the first time (congratulations, Genece!), as well as meeting up with our large family, visiting over tea, coffee and food! I'm sure Jessica has some shopping planned in her agenda! I know you all have plenty going on this time of year, just remember to stop and hug the ones you love and try not to rush through the days!
Blessings!
