Happy Easter!

Just a quick posting here...I wanted to be sure to wish you all Happy Easter!  I hope you all had a blessed day, and remember we're celebrating a Risen Savior!  We had breakfast early at the church, then a wonderful Worship Service, then back home for a yummy ham dinner.  I love Easter, it's the foundation of my faith, my Savior is a Risen Lord!

For Jessica's Easter basket I made these eggs, which are just plastic eggs that I decopodged with old sheet music, then used Rangers Antique Ink to finish off.  Oh, one more important note on the eggs, before I sealed them I put one's or 5's in them!  Jessica had fun today breaking them and finding money (usually she finds jelly beans).  Jessica may be 21, but I just can't break tradition, so both she and Melissa still get Easter baskets!  And now John Mark and Ellie do too!  Melissa had a rose bush in her "basket" this year!

John Mark's birthday is today, he turned two!  We went to his birthday party last night.  He got a new tricycle and once he got on it he wouldn't get off!  It was funny.  (He was not stuck in the dirt, he wanted it here...I think he thought it was a 4X4 tricycle and he wanted to see how tough if was!):

It was a fun party.  Here's the birthday card I made for him, just used a flash card and glued on his face for the answer!:

Jessica and I are leaving early tomorrow morning for our Spring Road Trip!  Whoo hoo!  Don't worry, Mark will still be here to take care of the farm, I mean Sarge, our lab!  So the big day in blogland, "Bling Your Bird House" (March 27) will be happening while I'm gone.  I did start mine already, and have it almost finished.  Next weekend I'll show my final Binged Birdhouse.  This is what I started with:

I want to show the rest of the wonderful gifts I opened daily these past few days for the Hippity Hop Easter Swap, but I'll have to do that next week too!  It was fun and I "hop" onboard any kind of swap like that anytime!
