Hankie Project Sunday (Show and Tell Sunday)
Analise is hosting today's "Sunday Show and Tell" and the subject is HANKIES.
I don't have very many, and what I do have are spread all over the house. So I decided to do my own version of the "Hankie Show and Tell Sunday" by seeing how many projects I could complete today with just one hankie!

The hankie used is one my younger sister, Genece, just gave me last month. She gave me two to use in crafts and sure enough, today I used one, the one with a hole as I would be cutting it up anyway.
I first made a tag:

Then I cut a square piece out and made a "Nest" 4X4 wall hanging. I used pretty ribbon around the edge, and added another edge layer of vintage pink glitter glass. I made a little "mini" tage that says NEST, and hung it right on this pretty little bird's nest. This is very pretty in person:

Then I made 5 hankie posies with buttons and put it on a bulletin board (that was already painted pink). The lace edging is some that Natalea gave me for my birthday. It was just enough to cover the perimeter of the bulletin board:

Here it is with a few pictures tucked in the buttons:

And here's the vintage pins I used:

In the end, this is what was left over:

Just for fun, here's a picture of how I store some of my scissors:

Yesterday (Saturaday) Mark and I, and my brother and SIL, took our jeeps to the sand dunes. It was a gorgeous blue sky day. It was absolutely beautiful and I enjoyed the sun. Here's a picture I took at the top of one of the sand dunes:

Guess that's enough for today. Hope you're all enjoying the last few hours of the weekend.
Blessings.

From Joyce:
....I've been frustrated to not be able to comment
directly on your blog but I've let it pass until
today. When I saw the beautiful things you created
with a hankie, I had to write. They were all so pretty
and inventive and I just love the tag!
If you would ever like to do a one-on-one swap, let me
know. I'd be thrilled to swap with you.
I've appreciated your comments on my blog. Tomorrow
morning I will post the pictures of the garland I did
for Robyn Haas for the GaGa swap.....
Have a good week.
