Where Is Dave Logan?

It's been several years since I've talked to, or heard anyone talk about Dave Logan.  I mentioned in an earlier text that Dave spent 30 years as the mid-day host on 610 WTVN.  Few, if any in the business ever had anything negative to say about him.

He was probably the most liked DJ in our industry. There was something about the guy that left him in a class by himself.

Regardless of the weather or what was making news headlines, Dave was always in a good mood. I never saw him angry and I never heard him talk about others in any way that wasn't kind.

Hell, he even liked John Fraim. Many of us who worked with John couldn't, or didn't want to share that affection.  He was, as our bosses reminded us daily, Mr. WTVN. Number one. Being on Johns bad side could make for a long day. John could get under the skin of everyone, but Dave.  Daves days must have all been short.

In his 30 years at 'TVN he always enjoyed lofty ratings so there must be someone around who knows his whereabouts and hopefully how he's doing. The guy had thousands of loyal fans.

I hope his life in retirement is a good one. And I hope to again see my old friend. In an industry where competition and out of control egos sometimes prevents colleagues from becoming close friends, Dave Logan was one of those rare opportunities that comes along only once in a while.    Rick
