Mobile, Alabama
Monday, October 10th
Its 12:04am, we had a short flight from Miami tonight. The flight was great, the clearport got us in and @ the hotel around 2am.
Its Columbus Day in this beautiful city of Mobile. The King of Blues, BeBe King is here tonight and our buses are parked next to eachother @ the best hotel in Mobile.
As I entered the city of Mobile, all I heard was Kevin Liles is going to be here live in Mobile. It was Kevin Liles radio once again. The Big Station 93 BLX gave me so much love. The City and State of Alabama opened every door for me. Big shout out to Ronnie Johnson for all the hard work he put into his hometown.
There was a very special guy I met in Mobile. He is the morning show host Ray Ray. The special thing about him is that he has a heart condition that requires him to have a heart transplant. He is around my age and has a spirit of a million saved men. He wakes up every morning to motivate us to start our day on a positive note. Imagine his struggle, think about how it feels to not know what tomorrow holds. Life or death. We all have burdens, but his burden is weighing heavy on me. I pray for him and his family.
After morning radio we did lunch at the Best Grill restaurant on Bishop State College campus. Where student chefs cook everything from fish, yams, mac & cheese, cakes, pies etc.....
It was crazee. I met Ray Ray's mom and extended family. I truly see where he gets his strength from now. God is truly good.
Tonights event is @ Bishop College. All of Alabama has come out to see us. This is a great night. Mayor Sam Jones is giving me the key to the city etc..... 700 people learning, laughing and living. We sold over 100 books. They sold out in 1hr.
Its 1am, nxt stop Houston, TX.
