Hello.  I just wanted to leave brief note to say 'Thank you'....for taking the time to share, inspire, and motivate us.  Even though there aren't many comments, please know your efforts have not been fruitless in doing this "Make It Happen" blog.  You've inspired me!
    Thanks again,

    Hi Kevin,

I would just like to thank you for your words of inspiration. I am a lyricist/songwriter striving to get my foot in the door of this huge muisc business.  I have been writng music since I was 14 years old and I am now 36.  Music is my first love.  It is the center of my hearts joy.  God blessed me with this gift and I wish to share it (like so many others do) with the world.  I am concentrating so hard on fast forwarding my career as a songwriter.  I am determined to "make it happen" this time.  I stoped writing songs for about 5 years but like always I picked up a pen and grabed a sheet of paper and I started to flow all over again.   I am now working with 2 other people hoping to get things going in the right direction.  It is difficult but I remain positive even when you come accross the bumbs in the road.

I just wanted to say thanks for your inspiring words and story.  Also God Bless you in all you do.

    Thanks,
    Aimee L Jason

    Thanks Kevin,

I have always repected you & your knowledge on hiphop music. My name is Jon Conner, I have worked with some of the hottest producers in hip-hop today, including, D Moet (Nas, P. Diddy), Self (Onyx, DMX, Nas, Big Pun), David Ivory (The Roots, Erica Badu, D?Angelo), and Tim Hill (Lil' Jon, Bushwick Bill, Young Buck). I've had the opportunity to work with and learn from some very talented producers throughout my career and they have all been instrumental in my development as an artist, from vocal tone, to the flow I'm using, melody, harmony, and of course little producer tricks. I hope I can have the same kind of success behind the boards as those guys.  I also have earned production credits on 3 national released albums: HayStak - "Start To Finish"(40 West/Street Flavor), Blu Chip - "All Money Ain't Good Money"(Get Low Records/Navarre), MoonShine Bandits - "Prohibition" (MSB Ent./Navarre).
I just recently completed a song for my *NEW* album "Game Of Life" feat. Jae Millz - "Let's Go!". The problem is that I feel like I am I could be further along in my career with a manager. I currently have no manager and there are no managers in Delaware. There is hardly no hiphop industry scene in Delaware,  thats why we call it Hellaware. We have a label down here called Hellaware Records but there are no venues that allow hiphop shows for us to display my music. I am also a full-time husband & father, so I have to complete that duty also. I feel like I have what it takes I'm just having 1 hellava time getting heard. Mr. Make It Happen, if you have any suggestions please tell me. I also can send anyone a very professional press kit.

Thank you for taking the time to listen!

    Peace & 302
