    Question

Do you think that a Blk flm who is going to be 35 years old next week is too old to get into the music business? I am currently obtainig my degree in Adminstrative Assistanting and I have always wanted to get into the business. What advice can you offer to me?   LaShawn Gaines

Hello Again Kevin ,   I know that you can not possibly answer every one whom responds to you ... but I would REALLY like for you to hear my artists.

My name is "K."  I am not going to give all of my info for everyone to read, but I do want to commend you for the daily Blog.  I too have come a long way in the business.  I truly feel that this is and has been a spiritual journey.  For many years I allowed people (family mainly) to damage or crush my dreams of being a producer.   My company produces film, television and music projects.  I have had one major script stolen from me and my faith in this industry had gone temporarily disappeared.  BUT ... listening to you on this Blog has restored my faith somewhat that there ARE INDEED people in your position ... at your level that do reach out to the "little man/woman" to give encouragement.
Kevin,  I would love for you to take a listen to three of my feature artists.  How do I get the demos to YOU?  I wish for YOU to hear my talented artists.  All are regional talents with a substantial following.
PLEASE  let me know how to submit these music projects to you.

    Thank you for your inspiration.
    Remain Blessed
    K.

I can be reached directly at (626) 818-1555 or kayklayn@aol.com
