Mr. Liles,
I am an African American women Inventor. I am in need of financial backing for my new innovative electronic invention, (patent pending) . Please, thank you. Please get in touch. I will send you private e-mail w/more info when ever you say. -
Dear Mr. Liles,
Your monologue blog is of much inspiration to me. It directly relates to my perspective on how to approach one's willful goals. I am a multi-instrumentalist from Morris County, NJ who has been writing melodies and chord progressions for the last few years, since I stopped playing with a 9-piece funk band. I started recruiting gospel vocalists on hometown.aol.com from New Jersey a few months ago and came up with a few good prospects to play, write, and record with. Recently, I started recording pertinent data to my plans from all of the major record label distributors and their subsidiary labels. Using the artists and genres of music that I particularly enjoy listening to, I was able to determine a classification for each segment of a label and learn how parent companies distribute in accordance to genre of music. I saw weaknesses in labels, as well as strengths, and then I noticed that dimensions of genre and label varied from each major company, and that now Elektra is with Atlantic, and Atlantic is with Warner Bros., I see you that you and Mr. Cohen have your work cut out for you. Allow me to assist you in songwriting and arranging with artists and production. I can develop their instrumental and vocal skills. I would ask that you visit my AOL hometown website so that you may be able to view my pertinent musical resume and my goals as to play a major role in the shaping of 21st century mainstream urban music.
Thank You,
Denknis

Mr Liles,
I go to the book store once a week and make sure I read all the latest information on the best management and success strategies. I was surprised to see your face on the cover of one of the books. First off, the authors that i usually read aren't on the cover and second they never have anything to do with hip hop. It was so refreshing to see a black man on the cover of one of those books and especially one who truly has the ear of young black men. You are truly a visionary at the forefront of a movement that my magazine the League is trying to harness.
The League is about embracing the swagger of Hip Hop and combining it with the substance of Business Week or Black Enterprise. The league is a metaphor for every young black man who thinks that his path to success is football, basketball, or rapping. The League is about showing every young black that there is a new way out....A New League and its from the block to the boardroom.
