Hello Mr. Make it Happen,

How are you doing? Thank you for writing this book "Make it Happen" and I am at the point in my life where that's exactly what I want to do. I am 20 years old and I have been going to school for a couple of years now to become a registered nurse but lately I have been feeling that this is not the path I want to take and after reading your book I realize that I can choose what I want to be in life. And that I don't have to settle for just anything, especially something I'm not too happy with. I am definitely going to nursing school for my parents and I feel that I would let them down if I change my major. But now I feel this is something I need to do because it's my life and I they are just going to have to accept whatever I decide on doing.

Mr. Liles you really are in inspiration. And I pray that God will give you the opportunity to achieve alot more than he has already allowed you to. And thank you again for being a voice in the hip hop community.

"God is good"...what an appropriate thought for the day! Not just because it's a Sunday. No, more so because I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself because I'd received an invitation to a Hollywood event happening TODAY and I was not able to go. An event that would take me, a complete unknown, and my writing career to the highest level it's ever been, exposing my work to the "right" people...people who can make things happen for me with just a handshake. But "God is good"...that was your reminder, Mr. Liles. And yes, He is. Because without Him I never would have even received that invite. Without Him, I never would've FINALLY signed with an agent who I hope will get my screenplay into the hands of the talented actress for whom I wrote it (Nia Long...LOVE her). Without Him, I wouldn't have a small buzz surrounding a book I haven't even finished yet. Without Him, none of the things I've accomplished toward reaching my goal would've happened, including this unexpected interaction with you, Mr. Liles, someone who just happens to be on my list of people I was told I need to know.
