Hey Kevin:
My name is Isis-Sa and I conduct after school music programs throughout Los Angeles county to at risk youths ages 11-19. We also promote and encourage positive thinking, literacy and self worth through music appreciation. Admission to our after school program is free to students who register in advance. Urban R.A.P. Workshop[nonprofit youth organization] introduces the new generation of music enthusiasts to the history of African American music from gospel to hip hop. We give away music instruments to those who win our talent contest. Since 1998, we have conducted over 50 free after school programs-given away over 150 music instruments from keyboards, guitars, bongos, congos, drum sets, trumpets, flutes, etc. It is very rewarding to see the light in the eyes of youngsters who could potentially be another Miles Davis or Stevie Wonder go after their dreams in their own neighborhoods, but at the same time it is very difficult to get funding to keep our programs ongoing.
It would be a honor if you could contact our office to sponsor one of our after school programs. Your involvement on any level will be appreciated and an effective way to send a positive message to the community. You can contact me at (323) 730-0127 or email me at Urban Rap Workshop @hotmail.com. Kevin, thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you soon.

I read your book and think it is an inspiration to all music heads and entreprenuers within the business world. You have inspired my company by showing interest in my artist Paypachayse from St. Louis. Holla back....314-680-2799

Hello Kevin, I am a singer/songwriter here in New York. As a singer I performed in many music genre from, R&B, Soul, Jazz, POP, Rock and Commercial. My style and voice is very rich and unique. I have been satisfying audiances with my style and original music throughout the Tri-State. I have done open Mic here in the city and always received standing ovations. My focus is writing hit songs. I believe my songs are great songs and are hits. My problem now is making it happen. Several producers wanted to produce me but I was not satisfied with their business ethics. Everyone who hears my songs are interested only if they can have total publishing rights of my songs and are willing to paid for the production. That unethical practice don't work with me. So I'm back to square one. Just writing Hit songs. A song is considered great when people hear your song for the first time and can't get the melodies out their heads and they are hooked on the hook. This is the feedback I get from people of all ages who heard my original songs. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in hearing great original songs for publishing or producing you can go to my website: www.debsing4u.com. The songs are composed, arranged, sung and written by me.
I was also told that I ask to many questions when it comes to business deals. I don't believe that. As an artist I also read a lot about the business. I just want to get my songs marketed and sung by famous artists. Also, as a singer, I want to have my own successful CD. I'm talking Platinum. my e-mail dmiller@debsing4u.com. -
Hey Kevin, Congratulations on all your successes. After playing in bands as a teen (some national) going in the military and retiring I jumped into the PR side of things. I was a combat photo journalist in the military, which is very similar to the entertainment industry (SMILE). I've already did some promotional events with Missy Elliott in 98, Clipse and a few others. My question is. What makes a successful publicist?
