My Thoughts

The 2nd part of Ethan's Bar Mitzvah, a formal attire party last night ... although neither Spears nor Backstreet Boys showed up, no one came by helicopter ... we did just fine.  It was lavish and enjoyable.  Mostly a local crowds, nice to see everyone at the end of summer! 

Ethan was KingLazy's first best friend, they met at nursery, all but 3 years old.   KingLazy's friends were all talkers and Ethan is very articulate.  The event was catered to both teenagers and adults.  Watching this group of kids, not too long ago were all still in diapers, now suited up and with mind of their own, learning to be a man or woman.  Sam used to be a  regular resident at our house, he played well with both KingLazy and Slowpoke.  In a blink, he grew tall, handsome and very inch of a lady's man.  He's not even 13 yet.  His dad confirms it, :)) "he is certainly doing well than his old man".  Golfer joked, "I went and shake his hand, so I'll get some of that ..." :))

The affair was nothing less than a wedding, with DJs, dancers ... I'm thinking that we Chinese do throw our kids a party, one month old red egg party, :))  I did for both of them.  The red egg party, guess in the old time, infant mortality was high, so if a son lived thro the threadhold of a month, then it worth to celebrate.  Not much to do with thy kid's self worthiness or building his or her character, :))  How about adding a  Sweet 16 for them?
