Feeling Happy

Going to Work

These are the Rhododendrons at the corner of our house. I am having a rough time getting anything uploaded again today.

Okay we are starting on the efficiency apartment for Jack & the boys. It is mostly Josh there now. Jack & Stephen will be living up at Cary during the summer breaks. Josh will stick around here.

I might make some pictures for Before and after. They have been in an old trailer on the property. It is becoming a little dilapidated and I was afraid for Josh to remain there. I would never have forgiven myself if something tragic had happened in the trailer. Now we plan to do all the work. Shirl, Sherry and myself plan to complete the job. I am looking forward to it. It has been a long time since we have tackled a job like this.

I got some beautiful pictures of flowers around Shirl’s place. Problem is getting them uploaded. I did get a couple roses on yesterday. There is a beautiful Rhododendron, it honestly looks like bunches of Orchids. I will keep trying to get the pictures uploaded.

Hope your day (Mother’s Day was good). Sherry, Shirl and I ate at Bojangle’s Chicken place. We just love the cajun chicken.

Thanks for coming this way.

Jack those  RHodendrons are beautiful. I have a feeling you are going to  have a few sore muscles before your job is done.  I know what you mean my getting back into anything you used to do.  Good luck and your family is lucky you are there for them.   Lucy

I love the color of these flowers one of my favorite colors. I've always loved purple wave petunias. Thanks for sharing the pics looking forward to more of Shirl's beautiful flowers.
I had a wonderful Mother's Day with the kiddos and grandkids. Hope all the ladies in your family did as well. Of course my Mom was in my thoughts throughout the day.
Sounds like you are quite excited to get back into swinging the ole hammer once more. Don't get too carried away and not take breaks or sit to eat a few bites. Looking forward to seeing before and after pics.

This is the first Rhododendrons that I have seem that looks like an orchid.  I need
to inspect the others on the property to see if they look the same.  I think the
color of this one is why.  The others are pink.  Will do inspections tomorrow.
