The tiny Island of Singapore
Reading the comments from my visitors here, I realised that I should have made an introduction of where I come from. The tiny island called Singapore, that's where I'm from. It's in Asia, just south of Malaysia with Indonesia, Philipine, Thailand among it's nearby neighbour. Even though it's officially an island, we're pratically a whole city by itself. Very modern with constance changing of rebuilding or refurbished., nothing iddylic or laid back like it used to many many years ago.

Let me just show you some of my country in digital print, as not to bore you too much.

Singapore is well known for it's melting pot of all kind of food available , being a multi racial country with many visitors and permit-holders workers from all over the world.
I'm not much of a writer, and basically is a quiet and reserved person. So most entry posted here will be in photographs. You know what they say, a picture says a thousand words!

I just read about Singapore, Jama, in the Wikipedia link. May I call you Jama? It is fascinating! I learned so much, how interesting that I didn't know too much about Singapore before reading this! I liked reading about your country's history, about the food, about the climate (one season and 72 to 93 degrees all year long! - I could live with that!), the beautiful plants. I love the fact that you all have such beautiful plants. I also read about the different religions that are in your country. I wanted to say that I am a Christian. A Catholic Christian. I wanted to also say that the Lord is the most important thing in my life. I hope He is in your life also! Anyway, thank you for taking me along on a wonderful adventure of your country. Both through Wikipedia and your wonderful photos. And please don't think you can't write! I want to hear more. Although your photos are great too, and they do say a picture is worth a thousand words!

(you left a comment in my journal about the hat; the picture is of my son, I don't refer to him by his name in my journal to protect his privacy, I refer to him as the "kid")
have a great day
