Could It Be True?

*I asked my mom if I was a gifted child... she said they certainly wouldn't have paid for me.*

Sometimes I should pay more attention to what I share in this journal.  Better yet, I'd just be better off if I paid attention to where I was going.

It occured to me that lately, I'm an accident looking for a place to happen. It's like the crazy driver that passes you going 190 mph...you're certain he's gonna get to the accident before the paramedics. In otherwords, you know something is going to happen, just not what.

While perusing some of my older entries, (you should check them out too), I noticed a pattern.  Apparently, I'm accident prone. I actually keep some sort of unwitting log of my injuries and illnesses right here!

Thinking that maybe something neurological was going on, I asked Wayne if perchance something was amiss in my brain, causing me to whack, smack, flip, flop and crash into everything under the sun.

He pondered this for a few moments and in fact,  took so long that I walked away, already distracted by something else...that sound that a kid makes when he bangs his knee on something to be exact.

While I examine the extent of the child's injuries, (he tripped over a Winnie The Pooh and jammed his knee into flashlight...don't ask) Wayne wanders in, surveys the situation and declares,"Nope, it's not your brain. You're just graceless, Hon and it appears you've handed it down to these hapless children.  Wanna go get dinner?"

Soaking the comment in, I responded with an evil grin, "Only if I drive."

If you figure out what's wrong with you, let me know, because my hubby suffers from the same ailment! He has also apparently passed on his lack of grace to our child....PS You should change your "About Me" from "I stub my toe a lot" to "I haphazardly walk into inanimate objects." You've gone WAY beyond stubbing your toe, my dear.

Well...all I have to say is.......your journal is HILARIOUS! I read back quite a ways, and I laughed at every entry. You have a gift with language (but maybe not so much with grace and coordination~LOL). I'm linking you to my journal. =)

Personally, I think that if done well, gracelessness is its own art form. That theory was developed after going on crutches for the tenth time due to sprained ankles and knees.
