9/10 Meeting Willie Wellie
Today's the day I FINALLY got to meet my first cousin, Willie Wellie from Scotland by way of Canada. What a cool dude, even if he is SHORT!
Can't you see the family resemblance? Willie brought along his friend Owl who lives in the little basket he's carrying.
If you look really carefully at my outfit you can see some of the cool pins that people have given me on my trips around the country. There is a pin from Delaware when I went to visit Jayne. The red poppy at my throat is from Jim in Vermont to honor our nation's veterans. There is a clear ribbon pin from my trip to see Kay and it is for lung cancer awareness. Dianne gave me a HUGE Philadelphia 76'ers pin as well as a Nursing pin and there is so much more I can't even begin to list them all. One day this week we will take some pictures of all the postcards and other goodies that people have given me when I visited them.
Willie and I are going to spend this week getting to know each other better before we go to the Jersey Shore for vacation with Jenna. She tells me we can see the ocean up close and that there are funny two-legged creatures that race all over the sand. Can't wait to see them (as long as they don't have fur like the creatures at the last few places I've visited).
We also have a big project this week that we will tell you more about tomorrow. We'll also introduce you to our friend Geoffrey the Giraffe who is going to be helping us with this project. You'll get to see some more of my friends at Jenna's store too!
Time to get some sleep...I'm still recovering from all my traveling.
