Hearing Kelly Clarkson "Break Away"
Wooo Hoooooo!
I'm going to be an aunt!!! Michelle, my little sister who actually "grew up", is expecting a child of her own. I can't believe it! What's weird is that lately, I'd been daydreaming about having a baby around, one that wasn't mine, a niece/nephew.
Well, my Joshua will be turning 9 in a couple of days, and Jewel will turn 8 in September. They are a lot of fun NOW. More independent, helpful with house chores, at the shop, and great companions. Because of them I stop working and search for fun activities to enjoy. They taught me to ENJOY the simple things in life. Like Naples Beaches, only minutes away from home. At least a couple days a week I'm there, reclining my chair, listening to the sounds, reading something, watching the waves and my children be happy.
But now that life is Sweet & I am more relaxed. A baby would be so enjoyable! Both Jewel and Josh would love to play, help and teach him/her. I can picture us all at our future house on the lake, chillin in the back patio on a hammock, enclosed with a white picket fence :]
Thank You Michelle & Cliff, for giving us something to look forward to. You will be wonderful parents! Congratulations!
Above are pictures of our most recent beach day, last Friday/6/16. Jewel & I made the sand castle with seashells. Joshua and Sammy Alpire made the one with an errupting volcano. Please cast in your votes for the best sand castle... tee hee

HI Jennifer! Very nice and creative journal, which of course is what I would expect from a fellow artist:)
I am so excited for you to be an "Aunt", it's wonderful! I was an aunt before I was a mom and I just couldn't get enough of my little niece Bergen who is now 14 years old!(Does that make me old?) You will all have so much fun.
Josh and Jewel spent the night with us Sunday and I have to say that you're doing a great job as a mom! I love Josh for his keen sense of hair style and fashion and his helpful hints on what exercise program I should try. Jewel for her cute and heart warming smile and that knock'm'dead attitude! But most of all I love the hugs and knowing that they feel comfortable with me as my niece's and newphews aren't in Naples.

I enjoyed reading your journal, and learning about your life outside of the shop. Ha You're a nut! I can hardly believe Josh and Jewel are as old as they are now! This is pretty cool...Enjoy the weekend!!
