Just drop me off here...

I'm still tired and sick to my stomach but i have a bit more energy today.Tomorrow is parent teacher conference day at school, the kids have 5 days off of school. My 5 yr old did not get a wonderful report card, it was all about classroom conduct, and he is a bit of a devil. Hehe. I shouldn't laugh, but he is so much like me, and so the opposite of his brother. Of course his brother is the one that gives me problems, not him, i think not just personality conflict but also testing his limits, seeing how far he can push me. We'll see how the conferences go, but i did warn the teacher at the beginning of the year so she can't say she wasn't forewarned.

Time to start thinking about christmas shopping. I can't believe all the things the kids want, every single commercial holds a toy or a game they have to have. So they need to make a list. My kids are getting older now and they still believe in santa and my husband and i had a talk about this recently. We can't remember how old we were when we learned, well, you know. With my oldest turning 8 this month, i know how kids talk, and i hate leading him on. Of course, i'm not gonna tell him. Santa may not be the one putting the presents where he finds them, but santa is the gift of giving in your heart. So how old are kids when they find out? I can't remember, and i feel like i need to be prepared for this. And i don't want him telling the younger ones, if that can be avoided. ::sigh:: i wanna be a kid again...
