Feeling Loopy

Remind me again

Last night my husband decided to make home-made pizzas with the kids. I've done this before but he hasn't, since he can't really cook, so i figured i would sit and enjoy watching. These are the first comments thrown at me:

~I wonder what to put the oven on
~I don't even know how long to cook these

My answer was the same for both: the directions are on the bag of dough...lol. Why is it men don't like to read directions, i just don't get it. My job would be so much easier and i would be needed only about half the time that i am now. But it feels so good to be needed!

My younger son comes up to me and comments that daddy knows how to make pizza and you don't. How quickly they forget! But, he said, you can do other things really good, like cook other stuff. So i asked him if thats all i can do and he says no, you're good at lots, i just don't remember. That's my boy! The pizza turned out good, the boys and my husband were all proud of themselves, and we made it a movie night watching 'Daddy Day Care'. The kids loved the movie, and it was an extra treat for them to stay up late.

From reading your posts, I think you're a wonderful mom. If you weren't, you wouldn't be so hard on yourself. By the way, most headaches come from tight shoulder and neck problems. Try heat on those shoulders and the back of your head and neck. Good luck there, little mother....From this grandma. : )
