Feeling Chillin'
Call me Alice in wonderland
We got a new couch today. Not new new, but bought from a friend of a friend. My husband has been soooooo excited about this i can't even tell you. I won't bother telling you what we paid for it, if you're drinking something your in serious danger of spewing it out your nose and i would hate to be responsible for that. But i will tell you that i was told the couch was brand new, in perfect shape, and i would love it. Kind of like setting someone up on a blind date and telling them their date has a great personality and thats all. But i trust my husband completely so i wasn't worried.
He went and picked up the furniture and well the first thing i noticed was there was something all over it. I guess it was in the guys garage, so it could be fuzz maybe or something odd looking, maybe bird feathers. That had to be vaccuumed off and thats when i noticed all the rips in the fabric. The *new* fabric of our *new* couch, loveseat AND chair. They were all like this! Finally my husband had them all cleaned up, all the cushions on, and i got to sit down. Whoa!!!! What is that smell?!! I can't even describe it to you, but we used a whole bottle of fabreze and i still can't put my face near the cushions. The best part though... i sit back, sink down into the big cushions...and my feet are about 8 inches from the floor! This is truely a ::cough:: good investment.
Along with the furniture we got some really cool bachelor pad matching end tables and coffee table and a leopard print ottoman. These will come in real handy in my husbands new place. :-)
