I let this journal go...

I've decided though to make it my UN-deployment diary.... Showing how things are going when you get home.... Maybe some other wives out there can use the advice.. or the warnings.. or the encouragment..whatever our outcomes may be.

You're leaving Iraq in TWO DAYS... WOW..Im freaking out about that!! haha.. I can't believe its real!! I haven't gotten hardly ANYTHING I wanted to get done actually DONE..but I know you don't care..I know you just want to be home.. and I want that too!!

Feeling Loopy  

 

You know, it's amazing what a personcan get used to.

I used to cry in bed when you were gone for your weekend drill.

Now, I only start to wonder and worry after a WEEK. How amazing is that?

To know what you are doing over there for our nation, and for the freedom of the Iraqi people is so amazing to me.

You aren't just gone to work, you know?...You are being a soldier.. a hero.

And I love you SSOOOO much more because of this.

So as I sit here lonely, I don't have much self pity for myself. I KNOW you would be here if you could. And the night seem to go on.. And I find myself in the middle of summer already! How great is that?!?! I've gone 6 whole months on my own now..Doing my job here....Taking care of the kids and the home; keeping myself sane and out of trouble; and being here for you to lean on or recieve cards from when you need a good smile and rememberance of what you have to look forward to when you get back home.

 

I miss you babe, but Im alright... Keeping the home fires burning takes all my time!

Baby,

                

Our time together has come and gone...and the new baby boy is here with us now...:)

 

I cannot tell you how wonderful our time was..I'm sure you feel the same way. Our love for each other showed the entire time you were here. We really were meant for each other, weren't we?

Those 16 days will be the memory that keeps me going this year. I know I have my hands full ahead of me..And I know you are worried about me..But KNOW that I love you SO much and I will do everything I can to support you and the kids while you are away. This is my time to concentrate on what WE need to do for our future..and the future of our three wonderful kids.

                    

I will continue to stay strong and to be the wife and mom I know I can be. This might mean putting some things I want to do on hold. But know that I will not feel bad about it. You and the kids ARE my life now...

                                     

 Everything I do is for you in some way.. I love you so much and can't wait until the next time I get to look into your sexy brown eyes and say "I love you" once again...

 

The kids are doing great and being good. I am lucky we have such great kids to help me get through this. Leslie is having her friend over tonight. That helped with keeping her and Ty occupied while Itended to James and the computer..HA!

Tomorrow the Family Readiness Group is having a Memorial Day festivity, so I plan to attend that at 4pm..I'll have both phones on though in case you need me to whisper sweet nothings in your ear...;)

Feeling Loopy

 Hey baby,

Well, as is well. I have heard from you! The baby has stopped trying to come out! HAHA.... I am not dialating anymore, so that's a good thing.,.He might just wait for you! I think he will though...

 

I have a ultrasound scheduled Thursday! Mom wants to go, but I'll have to pull Leslie our of school early. SO, if they are going to count it against me, then mom is going to stay here and pick her up off the bus..:)..Thankfully!!  Mom is SO sure HE is a SHE..LOL..I'll hate to break the news to her, but she'll have some PROOF now at least! HAHA OR, if she is right, at least I'll have a few days to go exchange all the blue for PINK..:)

I can't believe that when I wake up in the morning, it will only be 4 more days until you are heading home to see us....WOW..Time is flying by..I keep wanting to do my final cleaning before your arrival (walls, and tubs and such), but it's too soon with these kids.. Once I clean it, it's messy the next day... SO, I'll have to get some patience!!

Aunt Raven is still planning on coming down..Probably the weekend before you go back. I'm excited to see her, and I keep updating her for you..She thinks about you a lot...and loves us very much. It will be fun having her here!!

Feeling Hopeful

Hey babe,

 

I hope all is well with you. Day six that I have heard nothing from you. It's sad yet, it's amazing how I can get used to it after you do this to me so many times!! ;) I love you anyways...:)

 

Well, the doctor appointment went well. His heartbeat was 160 and he is now in the position to deliver..head down!! and I didn't gain any weight this week! I was beginning to think it was over for me and I was going to be as big as last time..LOL..But it might just be ok this time! HA!

Tomorrow I am going to pick up the papers for court. I forgot that they are charging me for it and we are low in funds...But tomorrow is pay day! :) Other than that, I have no plans...

Although I am wanting to do a LOT more to this house before you get home. Cleaning and such. Rearranging some things.. which SHOULD be only about 10 more days!! HAHA..I know..I'm bad..counting down..HA!

Anyways, no plans for the weekend. I hope I hear from you baby. I need my dose of hubby.

Feeling Hopeful

                    

Your little man enjoying his nice supper tonight!! HA! You like how I got his hair all curly?!?!..Yeah, he had just gotten out of the shower.. ..Too cute!

                    

Here he is pushing the chairs over to the counter..Now you see why I have a gate up into the kitchen most of the time!! HA! He was trying to get to the supper I was cooking! Luckily, he has yet to learn what HOT truly means...

Not much going on today.. Didn't do anything exciting..Just counting down the days until you start heading home for your R&R!!!  11 by the way!! YAY!!

AND only 19 more days until you are the proud father of THREE kids!! WOW, we're getting old babe. HA! You think we'll be able to find some innocent soul to watch the kids when you get back so we can go out on date's every now and then?..Let's sure hope so...;)

Well, my appointment is tomorrow. Shouldn't be anything though because he's not checking to see if I'm dialating until next week.

That's about it baby. I love you and always will! Never forget that babe!

WOW, babe! Time HAS flown by! I knew it had been a while since I wrote in here, but almost TWO MONTHS!??

I figured since you haven't been online much I would just make my daily emails in here so your mail box won't be full...;) That and you can just come here and not have to open and open and open up emails..You just have to scroll down to the last time you stopped reading. Sound like a plan?

Well, it's Tuesday... Only 12 more days until you're supposed to be heading home! I'm getting so excited, yet nervous. I'm sure you remember our last C-section all too well. Yeah, not going to be much fun for me other than having another Galarza boy in this world...That's going to be awesome! I pray you at least get home in time for us to be able to go out a couple nights and have some fun. See a movie, go out to eat..Maybe take Leslie bowling or skating or something...And maybe allow you to PARTY a bit one night ;). I just want you to enjoy your time since the last half I'll be disabled..HA!

Ty has been doing things that are going to blow your mind! He is so loving and talkative! Although it's just jibberish, he is talking up a storm! It's SO cute..And he is SO attached to his sissy! He loves playing with her and making her laugh.

I have been hybernating this week. Just going out to get needed things like milk and Diet Pepsi..HA! It seems like one day my body is rested and I get SO much done around here. Then the next day I have to recooperate and do NOTHING all day...UGH..I guess I can't complain though. At least I AM able to do stuff every other day...

Anyways, I love you so much baby. I can't believe it's already been over three months since I've seen you! That amazes me! I think God is blessing us by making the time go by at a decent speed. I KNOW it's helping me!

I hope you are doing well baby. Think of me and know that your family will be here for you when you get back home.

Well, little man is FINALLY getting into his bike Santa got him! He just started this a couple days ago. He still likes to push it around, but is starting to ride it! NOW< he'll have something to ride in our basement while Leslie is skating!

Here's little Ms. THANG posing as usual to the camera. She just loves taking pictures! She knew this picture was for you so of course she had to make the "angel" look so you will think she's been a good girl!

Well, I managed to get 2 loads over to the new house today. That's 5 loads total I have done so far and am planning on making 2 more tomorrow. It's amazing how much little stuff we have around here. BUT, I am getting closer!

 I will have at least enough done to be able to cope there after the big move. I'm not stressing ALL the stuff being there by Thursday because we have this house until the 23rd. Which is a good thing since the swing set and such will still be here. AND I have to clean in here too after everything is out.

I hope you are doing well. I miss you so much. Only two more months though and I will get to see you again! YAY!

Tomorrow, Sunday, I will be making quite a few visits to the new house and doing some cleaning in there...Like the cabinets and such. I need to sweep the basement too...It's REALLY dusty and bad for the kids to play in. SO, if you get on here and read this tomorrow and I'm not online..PLEASE CALL ME!!!! I am SO fiening to hear from you babe!

Hey baby!

Well, not much has been going on here...(as usual..) There's not going to be any cute graphics in this entry because I am just too tired and lazy right now..HA!

I have good reason to be tired though. I got up at 9am..(Leslie was still at moms) and waited for our new landlord to call. He finally called and showed up about noonish to sign the lease! YAY! It's ours!! SO, as soon as he left I filled the car up with boxes and such to take to the new house...And off Ty and I went!!

I got all of those boxes in and went to moms. It's her 53rd birthday today! SO, Leslie and I THEN went off to buy her a cake and some flowers. She loved that SO much!!

We came home..hung out for a little while, then took another load to the new house. This was Leslie's first time seeing the inside. She got to pick out her room, and she enjoyed running around the big empty basement. Ty just enjoyed climbing up the basement steps over and over! HA!

Tomorrow I have to go pay the first months rent and go get all the bills for the house put in my name. Hopefully there won't be any big deposits. I don't know how much I have to throw out right now..;)

I have been quite lazy lately. I think the pregnancy is catching up to me since I'm getting bigger. I'm eating ok, but my back and my sleep are getting deprived right now and it makes for laziness during the day.

I hope you will be able to tell me a lot more about about what is going on with you over there. I don't know anything about where you are sleeping, how your off time is spent..ANYTHING!! I feel like I am telling you everything I can, but not getting anything from your side. Hopefully, you can get a digital camera soon and send me some pics OR just mail me the tape from your camcorder. I'd love to have some pictures of you babe.

Well, I'm off for now. I have been neglecting my school work as well and am going to try to tackle some of it before I pass out!

Feeling Happy

Well, we are getting closer and closer. I talked to a local moving company today and have arranged for the BIG move to be on March 10th...Next Thursday!! YAY!! I am so excited, yet I look around and am SO glad I have already started all the packing and such.

 Now, I just need to get into the new house to start taking some of the small boxes and such over there because the company charges by the hour! SO, I'll be trying to get as much of this as I can before then. Plus, I have the this house until the 23rd, so I can come back for some stuff such as the swing set when I come back to do the final cleaning. I'm going to ask Craig to help me with the swing set with his truck!

All is well here hubby. I am excited to finally be moving! And the baby is kicking his brains out, so hopefully that's a good sign that he's doing well.

 Leslie has been doing good. We had a scare with her bike a few days ago. It was GONE. I told the neighbor girls if they found it, I would give them $5, and THEY DID! It was down the street at some kids house...SHEESH...I'm sure Leslie just left it there, so I didn't go telling any parents about it. Mom came over today and stole her from me..HAHA...Probably for TWO nights! YAY! SO, I can get a lot of cleaning, packing, and homework done during this quiet time.

Ty has been having allergies I think. Either that or a slight cold. I got him some decongestant tonight though and he acted a lot better so hopefully by tomorrow he'll be doing better.

Sorry you missed our date today. I'm sure it kinda bothered you but I KNOW you had to be busy to miss it since me and Auntie were waiting for you. I hope you are getting good sleep babe. I know it's got to be hard sleeping in the day time though. Thankfully, the 3rd shift job at Love's probably is helping you out right now with that sleep schedule. AT least you know what it felt like before doing it again.

I'm mailing out another card for you tomorrow babe!
