After a layoff of eight years, I entered the US Senior Open.  Finishing in a tie for second was pretty cool.  I enjoyed playing other players who learned chess the way I did.  From books!

  Jim, bit off the wall but I thought I'd let you know - my son loves chess and has your book he loves showing it to his friends - his name ? well it's James Eade of course [ his middle name is Aneurin ].
