Feeling Listless
Update and a couple of 'Reflections'
Snag and tag or have tagged if you want...

Hello everyone. Boy, it feels like I haven't written in months. I did manage an entry for Father's Day though. I've been having problems with ear infections for over a week now. I've gotten shots and ear drops and antibiotics, but so far little has improved. I feel a little bit better today but am taking a pain killer as well and that keeps the pain at bay for a period of time. So, I thought I would take this window to catch you all up.
The good news is all the kittens have a new home and they got to stay together. They are on a farm and are the only kitty cats among a mirage of other animals. They seemed happy and were ready to explore their new surroundings. I'm really glad they are all together. They had such a hard start in life I'm hoping they have a good time from now on.
The weather has been perfect for the last few days, although I haven't been out to enjoy it much. Today it is overcast and looks like it might rain later today and tomorrow. The temps are staying in the low to mid 80's though and the humidity as been down, so very pleasant for sitting on the porch when I feel like it.
Continuing with my series of "Reflections", here are a couple more Q & A's from my book...
Question: How old were you when you understood about God? Recall your early thoughts about God.
Answer: I was very young because my mom made sure brother and I knew about God's love for us. We understood what Christmas was about and were usually in a Christmas play in church. We celebrated Easter with a basket from the Easter Bunny but not until after we went to church. As a child, I just thought God was some magical, wonderful person that looked out for everyone and I liked it when we prayed together every night.
Question: What fashions were popular when you were in high school? Did you like them?
Answer: Bobbie socks and Oxford shoes, poodle skirts and pony tails; a child of the fifties (a baby boomer), I grew up in an era of the jitterbug and the birth of rock 'n roll. Of course, I loved the fads and, like most kids, wanted to fit in with everyone else. So spandex pants and sneakers were no stranger to me. Of course, in school girls had to wear dresses or skirts.
That's it for today. Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend.
